I reduced the eye sight intervention in the radio. I have left the collision avoidance in because I feel like one day, it will save my a$$. But adaptive cruise is awesome. Coming home from work, I set the adaptive cruise to a high speed and it’ll fallow the car in front of me. My wife has a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder, that system is stupid.

I own a 2010 hatch a-line. and it has Brembo gold brakes. could be for other then Europe market there were no brembos. I drive it every day since 2015. not sure that I wanna change it for smth else (~190kkm on oddo)

Believe it or not the wrx limited actually pulls the same lateral g on skidpad as a WRX STI VA. This isnt including the TR/TS that pull more lateral G.

Nah. It is good enough. The only thing wasnt good at it was the price it asks for. The STI for what it is is definitely good and didn’t need fixing. Now we might be getting new STI on CVT

I have a 1.4t manual jetta that surprisingly has good pep for local drives. It won't win any races, but its fun. 150 hp at like 5700 rpm and 185 ftlbs low down at 1800 rpm, which gives good pep between 2000 -5000 rpm. Curious how the wrx manual compares? I have always thought about getting one.

Dont worry the headgasket will go soon. The incessant comparisons of 2 different trim level vehicles on YT and so many comments on videos is just tiresome at this point and does both cars a disservice. The VB literally makes nearly the same WHP, +- a few HP points as any previous recent sti , confirmed on calibrated dynos, if were talking about stock vs stock. A lot of the previous engine issues were addressed in the VB, yet the brakes suck and the STi definitely has more styling and braking capabilities. This video seems to compare a highly modified sti to a theoretical stock VB. Dumbest title and concept possible. All you see are the sti owners hating on VBs "bUt iTS nOT An sTi" lol yeah no crap, their not in production anymore. I would never buy a used STi and modding them you need to invest in a full motor rebuild to make them hold any substantial power reliably. My brother had a '17 with 377whp and under 20k miles and was already getting signs on a bad HG. People are getting those numbers or close on bolt ons and 93 or ethanol blends and running reliably without issue. Its much easier to get power out of the VB motor. Subaru also underpowered the VB motor on paper likely to not devalue previous STI's, because dyno'd VBs should have considerably less HP rated at 271 from factory than they are being dynod at. There are also tons of YT vids/shorts of stock VBs vs stock STi's and they are almost always neck and neck or the VB inches away. THEY ARE DIFFERENT CARS-- We can compare their specs but lets not treat them as if they are supposed to be the same car.
