    Does it need to be stopped to use the buttons overhead? I cant get mine to light up on my 2024 model s. They are low under my wireless charger but i can not get them to light up as much as i press and hold

    Another way to activate those hidden buttons is to shortly press both scroll wheels on the steering wheel simultaneously. Like when you want to restart the screen but instead of pressing them longer time just a short press will engage the hidden gear shifters in the roof. I have used auto shift since I got my Highland LR and I'm driving every day. Only twice the system has guessed wrong about putting in the right gear, so it's very reliable and impressive technology. Thanks for all good videos you do about all functionalities about your car.

      Thanks for the tip, Stefan! This is helpful.
      Yeah, I've enabled it now - I've noticed it doesn't just shift when you get in, you have to tap on the brake even if you had held the brake in with your foot before putting your seatbelt on, so it almost "forces" you to check the screen anyways.

    Hi or I should say G’day from Australia. Just want to say awesome content for the M3. Very informative and easy to follow. Can you confirm if when you use the indicators you have to 😂 press them to turn off or do they do that once the wheel has straightened up like in my current ICE car ( soon to be upgrading to the new M3) not sure if this was a thing with the old stalks? Again great content and always look forward to your videos. All the best to you both.

      Hi Alastair - thank you for your support!
      There's an option in the settings that turns them "off" automatically - the behaviour is kinda different to the wheel straightening up - it actually uses the cameras to confirm that you've completed the necessary action after indicating - i.e. it turns off when you're in the other lane if you were indicating to change lanes.
      With that being said, it does sometimes get it wrong so I do press again to cancel.... I hope this makes sense

    If you have to stop on a hill, lets say on a traffic light, how do you immobilize the car during 30s or so untill the light goes green? You press the brake and once the car is fully stopped it holds position? Or do you need to park and un-park it during that time so that the car doesnt move by the force of gravity?

      It always holds if you come to a full stop - even on an incline. I think it actually engages auto-hold (parking brake)

    Hello, I also live in Portugal and I'm about to buy a Tesla like yours, but I have a question; does it come with the cable for home charging, or do you have to buy it separately? Besides the car, what else does it come with? Thank you.

      @europeinatesla  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Beretta, congratulations on your choice!
      Yes it does come with the home charger - this is what it comes with: th-cam.com/video/3d7dD2PQ3XA/w-d-xo.html
      Also - if you don't already have a referral code, I'd recommend using mine: ts.la/chienlun580702 - you can get free enhanced autopilot for 3 months - thereafter you can decide whether you want to add it for €3800 - so you can potentially save :)
      Let me know if you have any other questions

    Could you pls share the difference between black and white leather seats and why you chose black? Thanks.

      @europeinatesla  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think the white are really cool as no other car has interiors like that -- but I've always liked black interiors on all my cars - it just looks a lot more sporty, that was the main reason I got it.

    How fast is it to select neutral from the hidden buttons when you drive on the road?

    • @europeinatesla
      @europeinatesla  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I haven't tried this - but why would you shift into N whilst driving?

    • @grainfield77
      @grainfield77 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@europeinatesla you need to shift in to neutral whilst driving in case of emergency like a situation when the pental of the throttle has stuck.
