      See this i am interested in, my only complaint with how the headphones look is the headband which they could have came up with a better design come on lol But with how simple the design of the headphones i am surprised no one has just taken the cups off and mounted them to something a little better.

    My M1060 arrived yesterday, and as soon as I put the first song I was very impressed, it practically demolished my 400i. Anyone who is in doubt to buy, can trust that the reviews are right, it is spectacular by the price, thx Joshua!

    The way this review is quietly raving it's like Neo saying "woah" but in more words.
    What's it like trying open-backed headphones if you've only had closed-back before? What about planar-magnetic if you've only tried dynamic?

    • @SCIENTFICPULSE
      @SCIENTFICPULSE 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm I’ve used closed back headphones all my life but this year I made the switch. I can tell you that I’m never going back, I just love the open feel and I love the feel of sitting in the room with artist over everything is being jammed into my ears or studio feels you know? Hahah I think you should try the Philips shp9500 they’re great entry open back headphones

    Just make sure you do not buy these second hand or that you reach out to
    them after the warranty period because they do not service their
    headphones, which you would think they would with all the problems they
    have. I mean, you can't even pay out of pocket; that's how bad it is. I
    found out the hard way.
    Update: Turns out, they do not even sell parts for these; so, think about it before throwing away your money.

    • @ramspencer5492
      @ramspencer5492 ปีที่แล้ว

      You spammed the internet with this. They do service their headphones. You just have to send the whole unit back. 5 year warranty. Did you buy used? That would explain in.

  • @mikhailtessier1
    @mikhailtessier1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Idk where to post this but i know people are still looking for the Audeze vegan pads for the m1060s and audeze did something a little tricky. You can go to their site right now and go to accessories and go to LCD Headbands and there you can buy the pads from them directly.

      monoprice 1060c all the way. Even today, they are amazing and even though they're closed back, they are as wide (in terms of sound stage) as the m1060s and have better drivers. Sorry this is a year late lol

    • @Alexander5R
      @Alexander5R 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haven't heard the monoprice, but I own the other three. I paid more for the AKG, then the Hifiman and then the Philips. Even if the price were the same. the Philips is better built, almost as comfortable as the AKG, and the sound is the more rounded. The AKG sound the clearer, but has little bass and is very thin overall. The X2 has the most bass, but still sounds very clean and open, plus, it's the easiest to drive, out of my fiio BTR5 it sounds the best (single ended output). I can't recommend the HE400i.

    Hi! Got the M1060 a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I want to get a longer cable for it and it's a little confusing for someone new to headphones. Is any 2.5mm plug compatible? If so, Sennheiser sells a standard replacement cable for the HD477/ HD497 in Holland witch is even cheaper than a Chinese option (11 Euro). Would love to hear if that's an option :)

    Potentially dumb question because I’ve never looked at a set of headphones like these before. Do you need a DAC for these? Obviously it has a 3.5”/6.35” adapter but can it not just plug directly into whatever I’m plugging it into?

      Hi. Yes, you can use them like that, but keep in mind that they will need some power get the sound Joshua describes in the video.
