v62 Is a HUGE UPDATE FOR QUEST COMING SOON! In the coming weeks starting February 7, 2024, Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, and Meta Quest Pro headsets will receive exciting updates and enhancements aimed at enriching the user experience. Among the notable introductions is the Spatial Video Gallery, specifically for iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max owners, allowing them to upload spatial videos of up to 20 minutes in length directly to their Quest headsets. This feature, accessible through the Meta Quest mobile app, promises an immersive viewing experience in the Spatial Videos section of the Files app. Additionally, gamepad support has been significantly expanded, with the Meta Quest Browser now accommodating a variety of external gamepads, including those from PlayStation and Xbox, through Bluetooth or USB-C connections, enhancing web-based gaming on a grand VR scale.
Meta has also prioritized user safety and convenience with the introduction of a dedicated Safety Center within the Privacy and Safety Settings. This center provides users with easy access to profile status details, any restrictions due to code of conduct violations, and their reports about others, streamlining the management of their online experience. Furthermore, the Quick Actions menu has been simplified for hand tracking, introducing intuitive pinch gestures for accessing the universal menu and recentering the headset view. For those desiring more complex interactions, an option to revert to the expanded Quick Actions setup is available in the settings.
Enhancements extend to spatial awareness and content interaction, with support for up to 15 spaces in Space Setup, allowing users to experience mixed reality in multiple rooms. Improvements in space recall and anchors aim to enhance the headset's memory of setups and the placement of virtual content, promising increased resilience, accuracy, and a better room-scale experience. Updates to Quest Link, including support for a 120Hz refresh rate and compatibility with nVidia 4000 Series GPUs, alongside microphone quality enhancements and app continuity features, ensure a seamless and high-quality VR experience. Additionally, new livestreaming capabilities for Facebook and TH-cam offer users innovative ways to connect and share their virtual experiences with broader communities.

The new update makes me want to set up an arcade stick on a bar with a stool. Then play antsteam arcade in the browser sunk into an arcade cab augment. If it feels good arcade1up will struggle to compete imo.
