  • The arms that hold the knurling wheekls need some machining.
The technical documents for this project can be loaded from my Google-Drive:
    drive.google.com/drive/folder...
    In this video I use:
    - Schaublin SV-51 (1955) Milling machine
    Chapters:
    00:00 Introduction
01:29 Milling the support plates flat
10:19 Milling the radius on the support plates
19:43 Checking the functionality of the arms
22:52 Milling the 6 mm slots at the ends of the arms
30:05 Milling the arms thinner for the knurling wheels
34:55 Drilling and reaming the holes for pins
44:24 Testing the functionality of the pins
47:24 Milling a groove for the 16 mm pin
    52:25 Milling a dimple for a ball
    56:51 Conclusion
    58:07 End credits
The video is spoken in English but it has good quality hand written subtitles in English, German and Finnish.

Your videos are great. You explain everything so that even a cow will understand.😆

Great video with lots of practical advice. My only comment is that when milling the large radius on the dividing head, if there is a center relief on the end mill then the resulting surface is curved and is a very small segment of a sphere. The end mill acts as a fly cutter and does not cut flat. Good project.

Yes, You're quite right. The resulting geometry depends also a lot of the orientation of the endmill. If the endmill is not center enough, so that the circle of the endmill end does not cover the top line across the workpiece, the resulting form may become strange. It may be pleasing but strange 😁
