- Int this episode I turned a new motor pulley to fit the rear belt guard. So happy that is finally back on the lathe after years sitting aside.

Hi Rusty, Randys suggestion is good. You can also remove the lathe chuck with the part in it, and do a test fit. I would do it this way. Thanks for wiping my face before you started 😂 Cheers Nobby

Well done Andre. And what you can do is turn a bit of steel to the diameter as you motor shaft, and use that for you test fit that way the part can stay in the lathe and you can bore it till the test shaft fits. That will ensure the bore stays concentric to the V groove. Just a suggestion Cheers And have a great weekend.

Hi Andre, jy kan "V-belt gauges" by meeste van die plekke kry wat v-belde verkoop. Hulle is handig om die pulley profile te identifiseer. Die pulley het baie netjies uitgekom.
