Welcome to Part 2 of the most overgrown backyard I have ever encountered. As you all know I had to wait a few weeks to finish this yard because of a knee injury. After visiting two doctors getting a x-ray and MRI all the results came back negative. Basically the Dr. said the cartilage in my knee is thinning and the bones are rubbing causing my knee to swell. After a few weeks of rest I got back to the yard and finished where I left off.

My first thought was he considered you were going to ask for money. Then I imagined he didn't know how to accept such a wonderful act of kindness. Possibly, he may have been embarrassed. He may have health issues that prevented him from answering the door that day. He also could just be an unkind person. The reason for his actions is unknown. I do know you did an amazing job. Two thumbs up!
What a truly incredible transformation from an overgrown jungle to a beautiful lawn that just has to be seen to be believed!!! You don't miss any detail with the lawn, driveway, trees trimming, walkway, ALL of it! This homeowner is obviously struggling, but the rest of us, are showing up here to leave you comments on your dedication, caring, hard work and perseverance!! He probably was embarrassed on your thoroughness and didn’t have anything to give in return. Maybe not the best way for him to handle it. But he’s just human. We don’t always know the exact right thing to do.

This property demands significant attention. The towering trees near the house pose a threat to both the structure and the land, necessitating their immediate removal. Furthermore, the roof is burdened with leaves and requires replacement. The gutters are also deteriorating and need urgent attention. It’s truly disheartening. My sympathies go out to the homeowners. Your diligent efforts have resulted in a remarkable achievement. I imagine the homeowner is profoundly appreciative, perhaps feeling a mix of gratitude and embarrassment, unsure of what to express-especially when faced with a camera.
Great job! It's sad that he could not come to the door. Maybe he is dealing with his own Mental Health issues, the State that our world is in right now, many people are just trying their best and praying. But I would like to Thank you. You're a good man.

Mother Nature is a fierce opponent. Pretty much took back this piece of land. Your arm must have been screaming after several hundred cuts with the chain saw. Clean up was a whole other wild ride. What an incredible job!!! You’re amazing!! Glad to see you doing this again. Bravo Alex!

Never judge a person, he could have been sick, recovering from an illness etc. No one knows what someone is going through and I really wish you hadn’t worded it that he refused to answer the door. I know after being sick myself that I slept a lot, was in a lot of pain, at times an effort just to move. Some people find it hard to even have a conversation. Recovering after an illness or even mental health issues takes a toll on you. So people be kind. What Alex did was wonderful and looked 100% better. This world needs more compassion and kindness, be that person ❤️❤️
I agree. Sometimes I can’t answer the door for either physical or mental health reasons. It wouldn’t mean I wasn’t appreciative.

Writing a note and placing on door or text a message would have been suffice 🤷🏼♀️ Had major surgery once was very difficult to get around but was able to text my neighbor a thank you for tending to my lawn and vegetable garden.

It's the same as health insurance. Cataract surgery is not covered for me. I need it but can't afford it. You work your whole life when you need help it's not there.
