We once had a massive spruce tree very near the corner of our house in Alaska. The roots were starting to encroach on our foundation, and it totally blocked the sun on that corner of the house so my husband decided to cut it down. Now, we had a neighborhood squirrel that would visit our backyard. We called him Cyril, though I admit I don’t know what his real name was 😅. We would put out nuts and the heels of bread for him, and he had gotten fairly tame- he would take almonds from our fingers. The bread he would collect and hide in various trees in the yard. Well, when my husband cut down that spruce tree, there was a veritable blizzard of dry bread crumbs that came down across the yard. Cyril went absolutely nuts (yeah, pun intended), running up and down the power lines and chittering away at my husband. It was hilarious 😂.
Wow that was some exhausting job. Can't believe all the vegetation you had to cut down and there is still more to do. It would be great if you did a Part 2 to see this property finished. Taking down that huge bush by the trampoline and removing the bushes in front of the window would be ideal. Too much work though for one day. Keep the videos coming!
Would have to agree with you but the roots are probably damaging his driveway and no doubt causing drain damage as well as blocking the drains causing massive expenses every year.
It hurts to see a nice tree have to come down, but I understand, I had a tree in the backyard that no matter what I did, it still had aphids, and it was over the pool and the deck. It was ruining the roof and finally I talked my husband into getting it chopped down, which he didn’t want to do. I say it made a total difference in our lives because our solar worked again properly no more aphids and dripping because of the aphids and leaves were no longer a problem. Sometimes a tree can be a big weed something you don’t want.
Leaving the roots in allows the shrubs to regrow in a controlled way,the last owner allowed them free growth to detrement of light and neighbours, the big tree can also send up growth but may still damage services and drains.
My goodness! THe owners wanted it all cut down and you did! Whew, lots of trees and bushes... 1st time watcher of “I mow lawns”... great job. Liked and subscribed...I look forward to watching you again. From New Mexico, USA Blessings.
Shame about that tree. The previous owner of my property planted several trees too close to the house. I had to have them cut down. One was a magnificent magnolia tree. Broke my heart to remove it, but the roots were growing under the foundation. Sad.
Great job, sure opened up the garden. Shame on the trees and shrubs, you work so hard to plant them in another country. Admire your work and getting things done 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
New subscriber here! Great job here! How long did this take? How many trips to the Tip? And where are you located? Clearing out all this really opened it up nicely. The trees were beautiful, but it’s what the homeowners wanted and yall did great! - watching from Lake Wales, Florida
Too bad about that beautiful tree. Do you find that 4 out of 5 houses that need your work are corner homes...and 4 out of 5 of them have the infamous trampoline in the back? I see these patterns all the time.
I am confused here. It says this video was four days ago but I watch this same video sometime back. I know I did I recognize the tree in the backyard and everything

Sad about that beautiful tree in the front yard!!😢

It’s a messy tree. I’d get rid of it too. A way too many trees for one yard!!!!!!
This is when you needed to rent a big shredder….lol
This yard would have given me claustrophobia

Lots of the dreaded ivy. Good job guys.
Ivy and Wisteria are two things I would not have in my yard ever.
Amazing work
