At the end of the day though, it doesn’t matter, believe it or not, there is much much worse anime’s out there that make go for a punch sound like a kids show. This was nothing but wasted time.

Saki Sanobashi was never lost - because it didn't exist. The story about it is a forgery. The animation was made only as a response to its popularity; but before that it was never a genuine anime, popular or not.
You forgot Bunny Maloney, a kids show directed by Stéphane Stoll. A majority of these episodes are found, but partial clips are sometimes found on Pinterest.
Actually, the Bunny Maloney UK dub is the one that is lost media, half of the episodes are in French (the show’s original language), and the other half of the episodes are the UK dub.

To give a little more good explanation about Saki Sanobashi, the anime is about naked girls in a bathroom that has no door, the girls debate philosophically about never getting out of the bathroom. Later, it starts taking a dark turn, the girls start commiting suicide by either banging their heads against the wall or scratching their neck until bleeding. One of the girls helped another drown herself because she couldn't.
There are possible beliefs that Saki Sanobashi didn't exist at all, although there are other things that got inspiration from it.
