The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
im so lucky this was in my recommended, now im going to binge watch your videos then be sad when i dont have more content from you
I quite literally remember my friend getting that controller for Christmas. I kid you not, that version is a part of my childhood forever 5:16
genuinely believed the video was over at the halfway point, but then I heard more audio after I clicked off, thought it was an ad but then I ended up getting even more invested than I already was lol
Nice editing though!
BABE WAKE UP ANOTHER BEARMAN3600 VIDEO
Man that Xperia Play takes me waaaaaay back. A friend of mine had one and we'd pass it around at lunch to play pocket edition and other games on.
Blew my mind. A phone AND a PSP in one? No way technology could get better than this kek
All downhill from there
wait nintendo switch edition onky existed for a little over a year?? it felt a lot longer than that. although thats probably because a decent amount of people me included kept playing it instead of switching to bedrock
8:35 HTC also did the 3D phone thing back in like 2011. It was my first smartphone. I also tried playing minecraft on it but it was so battery-intensive it was the only instance where i got a pop-up saying "the phone battery is draining faster than it can charge" lol and it got hot as fuck
You emphasize the anger we all feel towards these companies’ treatment of their products and customers. Thank you.
I absolutely love how this video is edited! Well done!
absolutely fucking amazing. if i had to do this for the sake of a youtube video i'd blow my head off 12 minutes into the jailbreaking part. amazing video.
The editing is IMMACULATE
Watching someone 10x more tech savvy than me struggle as much with technology as I tend to on a daily basis is kinda therapeutic 💀
Damn Im soo glad I clicked on this video it was soo interesting and well made and at the End you found the MC Apple TV Edition
this is one of those videos that needs more views hope the algorithms helps!
He really persevered a game that hasn’t been preserved since 2018, what a chad indeed.
Respect for all the effort you went through while making this video. That's some real dedication.
This was a great video, and deserves way more attention. Great work, and i love the covering of preservation.
God I remember playing Minecraft PE Lite, and was so confused when it suddenly didn’t exist anymore.
I love the care that went into this and the non caring laid back “actually fuck you” energy this videos oozes
thing is, microsoft even let the store problem happen where sellers actually just straight up scam you and give you nothing from the pack you bought. so yeah
I recommend always just playing a cracked version of minecraft.
Damn, I often played apple edition on my friend's TV 6-7 years ago. Those controllers are honestly quite nostalgic to me and I never would have thought this edition is so rare. Idk if he still has the TV and haven't spoken to him properly for a while, so fuck knows what happened to it.
dude seeing the xperia pro had my whole childhood flash before my eyes. I remeber 5th grade seeing one of my friends with it playing minecraft, changed my life
THANKS Now the Minecraft versions are 100 percent complete on all the editions. I'm so hyped for the let's play that you mentioned!!
20:21 "but against all odds, here we are. sleep deprived, but.. we're definitely here" honestly goes so hard
3:58 nahh, owen is wild for that💀💀💀😭😭😭
at 12:33, auto complete list has "mine tugay ifşa" which means "mine turgay leak", mine turgay is an Turkish actress. we Turks bro.
dude, this was awesome. i'm really glad you did it, you've earned yourself a subscriber
side note, your humor is dry as a bone and i like that
this is by far the best content i have seen on youtube in the past few years. really hope to watch more
I never thought I would come across such a video as this. Here’s my story. I played Apple TV edition. A lot. I did care, and I did notice when it was removed. Even though it was discontinued, I could still play. Eventually, I grew up and stopped. Years later (like six months ago) I came back to it and looked at some old worlds of mine. Sadly, it crashes now every time I want to play my biggest world I made on there. However, other worlds are still playable. If I get a bunch of likes on this comment, I’ll drop a gameplay video.
Edit: Video below 😁
Whyre you edging us with the comment goal? Just post it lol
Tell us you’re lying without telling us you’re lying 😂 we know there’s not gonna be any followthrough regardless, you just want to watch a meaningless number go up to feel good about yourself. If you have access like you say you do, contact the video creator like he asked instead of posting about how just *maybe* people can see gameplay footage if they hit a certain number that apparently they’re supposed to guess since you couldn’t even be bothered to give a specific one
you would have gotten more likes if you had just said you'd post it, truth or not
You don’t have it, you just want likes.
When I'm in a lying competition and my opponent is this guy
this video literally combines 3 of my fav things: minecraft, apple products getting jailbroken, and history preservation
0:12 I AM NOT A MORON
YES YOU ARE! YOU’RE THE MORON THEY BUILT TO MAKE ME AN IDIOT!
YES YOU ARE! YOU’RE THE M0R0N THEY BUILT TO MAKE ME AN ¡D¡0T
YES YOU ARE! YOU’RE THE MOROM THEY’VE BUILT TO MAKE ME AN IDIOM!
@@NikoPeludo WELL WHAT ABOUT NOW? NOW WHO'S A MORON? COULD A MORON PUNCH! YOU! INTO! THIS! PIT! COULD A MORON DO THAT?
WELL HOW ABOUT NOW? NOW WHOS THE MORON. COULD A MORON CHUCK. YOU. DOWN. THIS. PIT?
This entire video felt like the unleashment of all the pent up rage at Apple's ludicrous walled garden of products and development.
It's always funny how I've never met anyone who worked at Apple, despite knowing plenty of people who have worked in FAANG. 1970s Bell Unix looks more usable than MacOS lol.
i still have it and i can still play it, something went wrong in my apple box basically freezing itself in time, but everything is functional (for the most part anyway) i can still play Minecraft apple tv edition is what im trying to say
(7:04) "Rest in piss." Best thing I have heard all day
Buddys never been on the internet
9:09 DONT TELL PEOPLE THAT ITS A SECRET BRO
youre awesome. you also have such a cool personality. i hope youtube will do its thing and youll receive the much deserved recognition
Seeing "Kindle Fire" after having one of those when I was like 13 hit me so hard
The production quality is insane for such a niche subject
22:09 As someone who is in the situation of trying to publicly preserve an obscure youtube channel's videos and related media despite never downloading any of that channel's videos myself before it was too late, I resonate with this message a lot.
as someone who was pretty active in the ios jailbreak community for the past decade, yeah fuck apple and their sideloading/update policies.
I love the small jabs and insults you throw at apple and other corpos. Fascinating to see how yandex out of all things came to the rescue.
I have been talking about minecraft in front of my laptop for 2 mins and i already got a recommendation, interesting.
thanks for the 1am gift m8
How many times did you say the word “fuck”?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂lol

I love the dedication you put into this video and the research. I also am a person who loves to solve obscure things when it comes to technology and somewhat of preservation. It's like being told someone not to do it, so imma do it. I hope you find other interesting projects like this one and upload your findings in video format. Your humor, and the video editing definately got a subscribe from me.
"We're on Apple's magical black box" hits different
I absolutely LOVE your humor, I was constantly laughing throughout the video. especially at the line, "Rest in piss..." And then, your production quality is absolutely outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed this video!
OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY OKAY?!?!?!
YOU VILL USE ZE IPA FILE FORMAT
YOU WILL BE OK WITH YOUR PRODUCT THAT YOU PAID FOR TO GET TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU
why are people complaining about this now? as if now owning digital media hasn't been a thing since digital media existed
@@Someone-sc2hk I've been complaining about it for years especially when steam killed off physical pc games and the only remaining physical pc games needed online drm to even install. or whenever nintendo nukes a whole online shop
Damn, that was a good video, love extremely random and obscure shit like that. Genuinely happy to hear it's been found and preserved. Hope more of the lost Alpha, Infdev, and Classic versions can be found and preserved sooner rather than later. Hold this subscription 🙇♂
This is an awesome piece of Minecraft history and your commentary is engaging. Thanks for making this it’s been great to watch
Bro managed to encapsulate every pain I've had jailbreaking, from an old iPod touch with little info to running Windows on a Chromebook in 7th grade, doubled the pain and gave it to himself.
Also you got me thinking about the preservation thing and I know what I'm gonna do with my Steam Deck; buy a 1-2TB SSD and try to emulate the most systems I can. 360, PS, major classics and I'll try to get something obscure in like an old iOS emu
3:43 it's gonna be really fun
He says while sounding like he's on the verge of tears
i like this video so much that i find just liking it isnt enough, so thats why im leaving a comment.
0:10 That's kinda why they made the better together update. So they can just code one version of minecraft and place it everywhere else
truly incredible video and im so glad people are finally talking about how horrible apples deal with sideloading is!! keep making these videos
Bro went through all this effort to play Minecraft Apple TV edition
1:45 it IS android. This is like saying samsung phones have a "samsung os"
It's not quite the same, Fire OS js android based and forked from the Android Open Source Project yes but it doesn't have Google services and isn't allowed to.
It isn't what most would consider "Normal" Android
Whereas Samsung explicitly is running with Google services and brands itself as using Android.
It's in the same vein that Android is TECHNICALLY a Linux because that's it's base, but most wouldn't consider it a Linux Distro
@@thawkade Google services aren't actually by default bundled with Android, the manufacturer or vendor has to install them as a bundle before first time boot. On stock Android, it may come with the original Android setup which does push Google signin but companies can also swap that out too for their own one
@@thawkade another thing is you can actually install google apps on there with APK files and most of them work fine, its just that without services framework google play and the services will not function, problem is most of these apps are not made for a tv
