you can pick up a welder that WILL WORK FINE for just $100 at harbor freight. My first time ever welding (without practice) was with the lincoln electric $100 flUx core mig, and i made some pretty sturdy welds. give it a shot if you have a few bucks! DONT BE SCARED!

@@englandentertainment1530 I hope so, I got the donor ski from my dad took his word that it was a good motor got it all swapped in went to fire it up got some back fire and some smoke and then brown water out of the spark plugs
@@christophertibbetts2458I’d probably put a little oil in the cylinders and spin it over with the plugs out a couple times then do a compression test and see what it says
Jet skis have really good fuel consumption considering the rpm range they are usually ran. That is an awesome build i thought of doing that. Especially with keeping the critical hull pice totally saved you guys days if not weeks of headache.
@@pain_weaver yessir! A tiger shark ski has a removable jet pump assembly. me and my buddy built a jet jon with one and it was pretty good! His TH-cam is -uncle shane. He has a video on it if you want to check it out!
@@englandentertainment1530 now you need to build one with a casting deck and enclose the motor. Move fuel tank forward (just like jet skis). And of course deliver conveniently to my driveway. 😁👍

None at all! Although I did build a flat bottom one and that one cavities so bad it is unreal. I still haven't gotten it right
Do you think it could be done without a welder? I do not have the skill or equipment to weld.
It would be a little harder but I think you can do it

What did you use to seal it up?
So I just used some sealant for roofing tin but I highly recommend using solar seal. I found out about that stuff after making my boat

I used 3m submersible construction adhesive. Comes in a tube like calk

Itll run around 40mph and as far as fuel consumption goes I'm not really sure but we rode a good while on half a tank
