  • In this Video, we`ll break down the essentials understanding of 5G NSA Mobility, exploring R2R Call Flow using traces and Logs and we will address all the common handover issues. The following will be covered in this video:
1- 5G NSA ENDC Network Architecture And Mobility Overview
2- How to check EN-DC UEs Capability for NSA Handover
3- Exploring E2E Call Flow from Traces and Logs
4- Mobility Related Parameters and Common HO Failures

Thank you San for Great session
It would be add more valuation if possible you to explain failure case by case like Ho Intra,Inter or sgnb due to t310,abnormal release expiry,t304 expiry e2e layer3 msgs it help ful to correlate in d2d routine thanks for knowledge sharing

Question from what I have seen in Ericsson nodes, when we have NR RACH process fails [after the ENDC setup completed (SgNB addition)] the RACH failures and MeNB triggered SgNB release counters are pegging in the NR side. But what is the below counter represents in the LTE anchor side,
pmEndcSetupFailNrRaProblem - Number of RRC SCGFailureInformationNR message received with NR RACH failure during EN-DC session or when configuring EN-DC.

Hi MrGmKsamy, everytime there is a drop due to rach failure the mentioned counter will be triggered at the anchor side as the ue report the failure to MN node through air interface scgfaikure message then the MN will send releaserequest message to the SN which includes the same cause: you can get in touch to discuss further through microsoft Teams

Very useful Mohamed! In case of PSCell change the configuration of scell(SCellToAddModList ) is also based on A3/A5 measurement report that Ue sends S-MeNB ? In other words, does the Ue measure spCells (A3/A5) together with their scells ?

Hi george; for A3(intrafreq) ue measure all the timer intrafreq cells evel for scell or spcell; the same applied for interfreq(a5) but whenever the user enter the measurement zone

Very informative. Thank you. Is there any chance of explaining in a video that includes beamforming? For example, how to ensure beamforming is working, ..when PMI is used if SINR is good? considering SRS usage, and similar topics.
