Excellent information. Thanks for sharing
Thank you 🙏
Thanks, very nice explanation 😃
You are welcome
sir, can you provide 5G dataset based on service priority
Hi bro; the data mentioned is not currently available with me. Sorry
Excellent 5G Network course!! What would be the name or specification of this feature in the 3GPP in order to support multiple LTE anchors in a 5G NSA network? Or is this feature is a proprietary development of each network vendor? this feature multiple LTE anchors in a 5G NSA should allways supported by the UE?
Thanks Giovanny for comment; when you say multiple lte anchor do you mean 4G carrier aggregation? For example; B3+B1+N41?
@@mohamedeladawiashour You're welcome, when I mention multiple anchors I mean that the 5G network in NSA is anchored to several carriers in LTE, not necessarily that in LTE these several carriers work in Carrier Aggregation, but rather for example that we have a 5G network in NSA in n78 bands and in LTE it has several anchors in AWS b4, PCS b2 or APT b28 bands
Hi Mohammed, Very useful info you provided one thing i want to add I faced that issue in my testing. Let's suppose ue support lte band X and NR Y band in MRDC parameter then if UE doesn't support IE simultaneouslyRxTXinterBandENDC then ur can't attach to 4G and 5G in parallel as NSA mode but individual it will attach
Thanks a lot pankaja; very good addition

Hello Mohamed!! In 4G PDCCH OFDM symbols is informed to the UE by PCFICH. In 5G SA this is done via RRC specific signaling during RACH procedure. Is it correct ? thank you
Hi Geroge; yes you are right about 4G Part. Regarding 5G SA Part. i am not quite sure from the answer but based on 3GPP TS 38.213 and 5G NR in Bullets. gNB transmits core information element inside MIB message which is used as a pointer within 3GPP Specified tables to identify Frequency & Time domain Positions including the number of resources blocks and number of OFDM Symbols used for CORESET(PDCCH).

Hi Mohamed i have 3 questions: a) Is there any timer that measures the time during which the user is silent and then enables the transmission of SID frames ? b) Why S-CSCF invokes the MTAS and not the HSS for the user status, if the user is allowed to perform the call ? c) Given that RTP(QCI 1) packets are transmitted every 20msec, how often IMS signaling packets with QCI 5 are transmitted ? Thank you
Hi Geroge, Please seen my answer below: (1) As I understand there is no timer to control the SID Frames; it is mainly identified based on the SID Transmitted intervals which is 160ms and the frame size is always fixed to 56 bits for AMR voice coding rates and 64 bits for EVS voice coding rates (2) Good questions; I am not really sure about why HSS is not being involved but in all cases MTAS invoking the MTAS for MO & MT Services are one the main function of MTAS Server and I believe HSS should offer the same functionality and might get involved at some stages but I am not sure about the scenarios. I will let you know if I find any direct answer for your questions (3) I think there is no fixed duration for SIP Signaling as this is event based and on demand signaling, for example when the user sent or receive SIP Invite or any other events but it is not something being exchanged all over the call.
Hi Sir, As per my understanding same concept we have in Remote interference where we are getting interference from other BTS ie is from 300km like that.
Yes, You’re right; due to duct for example
Thank you, well explained
Thank you
Very nice content and well explained
Thank you
thank you, have you ever tried to change the UL/DL ratio in flexible slot? if yes, is there any great improvement ?
I did it by myself only for 4G TDD through changing ssp from ssp5 to 7 which brought a good gain in dl throughout at that time but interference increased due to GP symbol reduction
So as i understand we have to be careful while configuring the slot and taking into account the different control channel specially for RACH procedure . Also i have to mentionne that if we increase the number of UL slot , maybe the number of UE can increase . But my question in case we have multiple UE is how the gNB did the allocation is it in term of slot or mini slot or symbols .
Hi Khaled; regarding your question; actually the current used and supported configuration in both 4G and 5G TDD is the static allocations means that there is no option that different UE can have different slot allocation however 5G support a dynamic TDD allocation(didnt try before) where the gnb can assign a dedicated and different configuration for the available flexible slot but this might also cause something called cross link interference; you may watch the pervious video which may give you some clarity
@@mohamedeladawiashour ok thank you for your clarification , and i got the idea .
Thank you
You’re welcome
Thank you for sharing your knowledge...👍
You’re welcome
Hi Mohamed, with the CSI-RS beamforming technique there is a predefined set of PMI known to UE. Does this occur also with SRS? Is there also a predefined set of traffic beams with SRS technique? Thank you
Hi Georgi; i am not sure about the answer for your question but i dont think that there is a predefined set if traffic beams incase of SRS; page 196 to 197 in 5G nr in bullet book has some good information regarding csi-rs and srs mechanism also please let me know if you find and confirmed the answer. Thank you

Hey the order of the bands is important or if its says b1 as primary cc+ b3 means that ue supports b3 as primary + b1, + any Nr band
As i remember; yes band sequence is important to understand which 4G carrier is the primary one; let me double check and recall this information and will get back to you later on. Thanks
@@mohamedeladawiashour ye i think that the sequence is important too ,and its incorrect to asume b1+b3+n78 also tells us that b3+b1+n78 is supported by ue, but im not 100% sure
Nice detailed session 👍

Salam bro , firstly your videos about QGIS are totally amazing and useful , well done. and secondly hope you explain how we can calculate the elevation using QGIS . and if i changed the bore of a sector using Attribute table the value will be change but the bore will be remains? Why? thanks in advance.
Thanks bro; for the elevation part i will check and try to combine it with other qgis related requests in one video; for the 2nd question as per my limited knowledge once you update the attribute table you need to generate a new bore/sector creation as i couldn’t find away to refresh the existing layer earlier(but it might be there)

Thanks for sharing, excellent video! Regarding QCI5, I think it's allocated during initial UE Attach Process, in order to reduce extra message handshaking during VoLTE Call Setup procedure. But from this video section: th-cam.com/video/H1DErnO2QHY/w-d-xo.html, maybe I'm missundestanding "Initial Context" message. I mean, QCI5 is setting up again?
Hi daniel; you are right qci5 will be allocated during initial regsiter but once the UE go to the idle mode and initiate a call then the enb need to establish the radio bearer again for qci5 and 9(default bearer) before initiating the dedicated bearer process I have mentioned the same as you highlighted in the below video th-cam.com/video/ovdgIXShvRI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SJAiaj7-Rtslc5-N
@@mohamedeladawiashour Thanks for your reply. So, this new establishment of QCI5 is more simplified that initial QCI5 allocation at attach procedure (according to your other video: th-cam.com/video/ovdgIXShvRI/w-d-xo.html).
Great Information. Never seen session with such details and examples
Thank you, appreciated
Very informative Mohamed!! Is TTI bundling activated simultaneously for the Volte UEs that are exiting DRX due to low UL SINR(bad radio conditions) ? Is the LongDrxCycle value the same for data and voice ? Thank you
Thanks georgio; if user already in TTI bundling state then exist UL sinr feature has no effect and will bit work along with tti as the user is already out of drx state; for 2nd part i think cs and ps have different longdrxcycle
