@@pythonxz I do wonder how heavy on spec it would be. I am still sporting my classic GTX 1080, thinking whether I could afford a 4070 TiS, or perhaps something like the 4070 vanilla would be enough for good experience with the 2026 generation games like this one and the next Witcher?
I think Daemons become prolific if you, as Jun become one yourself. I think you'll be a daemon different from all other because you are both Celestial and Human. Mixing that with the superhuman capabilities of the daemon...god i cannot wait for this. I'm becoming a daemon for sure in my first play through.
According to the book, silicates can’t bond with any of the Celestial races so it will be interesting to see if Jun, an Uranic (a human with celestial genes spliced in), is still considered “human” enough for symbiosis. Would be awesome to be given that choice but I think it’s more likely we get a Daemon companion. That celestial gauntlet Jun wears seems to be integral to the gameplay mechanics and I’m not sure it would work on a daemon.
@@Pårchmēntôs I think Jun might be different from the Uranics created by the Celestials. And in the promotional images you see three versions of Jun. A man, A woman and a daemon. I think you should be able to become one. Plus being the first celestial daemon would be unprecedented and really cool. So, I choose to believe. I think you'll still be able to use the gauntlet.
I have my fingers cross MyHulthen that we can actually walk around these streets and just inspect the shazam out of everything, I'm hoping there are different locations within the cities all connected to one another like in the original ME Citadel.
Thing is. These are more than simply teasers. This is world-building and story-telling, making us feel invested long before playing. Very clever! Can't remember having seen anything similar.
They’re building their universe and the lore so that gamers are completely immersed in Exodus. Mass Effect is its predecessor, and also will be its rival, so the lore has to be showcased so that it stands apart from Mass Effect and makes it clear, it’s not a Mass Effect clone. Look at what happened to Callisto Protocol. Glen Schofield had to create an entirely new universe unique from Dead Space, so that it stood on its own, but it unfortunately was not as successful as hoped.
The second souds more of us being humanity more militaristic or even creating a new faction all together that could end up breaking humanity instead of helping it
@@suddenimpulse030 English is not my first language, even though I taught as a second language for more than 6 years. Nah, Matthew's accent coupled with game-specific terms made incomprehensible for me
I have the feeling that the game could be overcrowded with content. So many celestial species, human mutants, silicates/daemons, intelligent animals and so on. The game will be either very very big or we will have a very briefly interaction with many or even all of them. Of course it is possible that we will interact with only few of them and the developers create so much as a base for future games, for example set in another part of the cluster. I am sure the game will be GOTY worth material but not as flawless as we may be imagine right now.
They may separate it like they did with the Trilogy back in the day, like in ME1 we didn't know about Drells,Yahg, Collectors etc, but then in ME2 Thane was introduced as a Drell(his son too and Feron), the Shadow Broker as a Yahg, and how the Protheans became Collectors, each of those were discussed in depth or as codex, then in ME3 our first non mutated, normal Prothean Javik, then the Leviathans and their lore, you get the gist, but again this is just me speculating, they throw it all in one game for all I know lol
I'm a little concerned with the amount of info suddenly coming into focus but the lack of gameplay being shown. I understand it might not be ready but usually in the industry if developers talk a lot about a game it's because they have something to show. 😂
In their case, they are treating Exodus like they treated older BioWare games. When they worked at BioWare, their marketing would center a lot on world building before showing significant amounts of gameplay. They've been ramping up the frequency of their marketing, so I wouldn't be surprised if a continuous gameplay trailer was released.
@pythonxz AHH that makes sense. I was only about 8 years old when I played mass effect for the first time so I don't remember marketing strategy.😅 But what you said makes sense. I am enjoying the world building but dear god would I love to see a 40 minute gameplay reveal trailer focused on a random meaningless section of the game.
@@liamanderson9054 I think they might do a gameplay video that shows a side mission which involves an exodus that involves minor time dilation to show the consequences of your choices. This would allow them to convince people that it's in the game, while avoiding major spoilers. It's hard to avoid spoilers with gameplay for a story based game.
a bad and worse choice. The problem is if the daemons as a group become evil that is a problem. Jun even if good can't fight them all. As for the mech armies the same goes that way. A bad and worse choice and the player has to choose the least bad option.
The videos give off mass effects paragon and renegade choices aka the hero or villain choices we will have to make in exodus that will affect what story gets told would be my guess unlike the mass effect games which had only one story exodus may have multiple stories that branch off the main story only time will tell oncexodus is released

Merry Christmas!🌲🙏
That is what I was goingto suggest. Updates are by email.
Yeah, I saw them a week or two ago before new trailer.
That daemon design looks flawless.
Already so much depth that other games are just missing.
This is what BioWare world building was like in the past. If Wizards leaves Archetype alone, this will be another Mass Effect level success.
Yeah unfortunately the new bioware places writing and world building on the back burner

Adrian Tschaikovski as well? I have been binge reading them both. Are they really different people?@@pythonxz
Game looks like it's gonna be amazing, with an in depth branching story, can't wait to play it.
It's not just me right? I feel like they are beginning to ramp up marketing just a little.
You're right. I'm thinking late 2025 to early 2026 release. Though going by game being in pre-alpha, 2026 is more likely.
Same
For now, it's just you and a few more people. The game isn't even in the oven yet so I'm not expecting anything before 2026.
