I wanna know what exactly makes the Celestials gain a disdain for their ancestral human ancestors... you'd think that they'd have a reverence for their ancient brothers and sisters seeing as it was them that yes, destroyed Earth but they also provided salvation for their whole race. So I wonder why they just hate them so much. They surely couldn't have lost ALL knowledge of their human forefathers 🤔🤔
Think about it, how much real knowledge, not just educated guesses, do we have of civilizations that ruled the wold just a few hundred years ago here on earth ? And that's having a lot of physical clues to work with as well as physical reminders of said civilizations (pyramids, roman buildings and so on) So imagine with even more time and incredible physical distance what can happen to the perception and knowledge they would have of their ancestors ?
It's more that they're now so removed from baseline humanity in biology and in psychology that the existential levels they're operating on are totally different to humans. Can a human relate to an ant in their garden? If a human digs up part of their garden to do landscaping, it might destroy many ant colonies but the human wasn't attacking the ants, the ants were incidental to what was going on, but to the ants it would have seemed identical to a massive incomprehensible attack.
The only thing that takes me out is the reasoning for abandoning the earth. In a scifi setting where terraforming technologies exist, why not just use that same tech to make earth habitable.
what would be interesting is to see what became of those left behind. Earth will eventually heal itself and recover once the bulk of humanity has skipped town or died off, it's survived far worse than Humanity (even hit by another planet), and our biosphere is incredibly resilient and adaptable. Some humans will likewise survive, possibly evolving to suit the new biosphere that comes out of that recovery period, and after fourty thousand years? Who knows what they could wind up being like. Modern humanity went from primitive stone-tool-using cave dwellers to walking on the moon in less than half that time, so a part of me wonders about what might be back on ol' Terra. I HIGHLY doubt it'd play into the game, but it's an interesting thought to ponder.

I'm optimistic for this one.
Is Mass Effect canon in Exodus?
It would be a completely different universe
Completely different franchise. I don’t know if Aliens are even in this one.
@@americancapitalist9094you say cause the humans did went through changes an to the new generation they considered aliens
In my personal headcanon it is.
Lets not forget that Casey Hudson also walked out on this team. He did the same with ME: Andromeda. So that does not leave me much hope for this coming title.
He's not involved with Exodus ?
Wrong studio, he was never involved with Exodus. His new studio closed without ever announcing the game they were working on. Lets not forget to check our facts!
Genuinely funny to me how many TH-camrs are using Mass Effect music as the background for this game, when they're making a new Mass Effect game (yes, it'll be terrible).
I tried using Exodus music but it got copyright striked. Mass Effect music doesn't get copyright claimed
This could be our Earth future, if we’re don’t take climate change seriously
If the narrative starts right off with some bullshit, micro plastics aren’t in the oceans that’s what’s in your food. OK, which never makes it to the ocean not not really your food ends up in the sewage systems the micro plastics you can’t digest end up in the sewage systems, but that water also doesn’t end up in the oceanplastics, however not micro plastics but whole plastic bottles, milk, jugs, plastic containers, all kinds of things that don’t break down very easily they end up in the ocean, but not micro plastics so right away the narrative is losing me
Can't be worse than Veilguard. Might be another Andromeda. Cauitously optimistic.
