I love love love Hook! Growing up I wanted to be Rufio. Even to this day I still have fond memories of Hook. I actual picked up two vintage Happy meal toys from the movie Hook. Got Peter Pan and Rufio. Never knew these existed. Great video. Keep up the great work

Actually had a find myself Didn’t even have to go out my neighbour throw out some DVDs at the front of there house So I picked them up and took them home and one of the DVDs Was worth over $100 I listed it on eBay and got $110 Dollars
My favourite modern game has to be Spiderman PS4, I recently got myself a PS4 with my sisters help and the first game I got was Spiderman! I played it so much that within a week I achieved the Platinum Trophy! Its the fastest I'd seen it done, but I spent so much time playing it, that I actually went a few days without sleep, I even go back to it sometimes when I cant sleep and just swing around the city! Thank you so much for this series Rick, I just caught up on it and it is seriously helping me! I do hope that it carries on and I've been embarking on a similar challenge myself, but I'm thinking of starting this challenge with my brother and see if we can create a collection ourselves and hopefully have some luck. I'll make sure to update you how it goes, thank you for this amazing series :D

There are a TON of great modern games lately. I find myself coming back to a small title called Sky Force on the switch. It’s a vertical shooter that has amazing music that reminds me of Commando. Thanks for the video!!

My favorite game for the Switch has been Mario Rabbids. I loved the strategy based play. Lots of variables to consider and work through. Great video and great finds. Good luck with the Switch Lite!
Such a hard question. Spider-Man is amazing and I couldn't put it down but I took a break after moving my PS4 Pro to my bedroom. So many great Switch games. I've probably put the most hours into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Smash Ultimate as well as Asphalt and Warface to try to get free rewards. I still need to get back to Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. I've been playing God Eater 3 lately and have too many games in my back catalog. I probably sunk the most hours into Phantasy Star Online 2 for the One X as I got over 100 hours in really quick so I'll go with that.
@@retrorick I can see why and thinking back a few more years, Infamous: Second Son was a game I was obsessed with. I platinumed it and did the hardest diffulty on my second play through by being nice instead or evil. I also spent a while getting a platinum trophy on Gravity Rush. I couldn't get it on the Vita even though I beat it, but I could on PS4. I guess that shows how addicted I can get to those open world super hero games where you can basically fly. I need to finish Gravity Rush 2 and I used to play DC Universe Online more than any MMO. I definitely recommend Gravity Rush for Vita or PS4 and its sequal to anyone who's never played it. It's so much fun to just explore!
All the Goodwill's/thrift stores around me start every ps2, xbox, 360 and ps3 game at $4 and they go up really fast from there. Kinda jealous of all your killer finds.
That Switch Lite deal, was God Tier! My favorite modern game at the moment... I actually got really into The Swords of Ditto: Mormo's Curse recently. As a huge classic Zelda fan, this one thoroughly surprised me! But as for none indie favorite modern game... it's between Zelda BotW and Super Mario Odyssey.
My favorite modern game recently is Far Cry 5 or Jedi Fallen Order. The only 2 games ive preordered in a longgggg time. And i still go back and play Far cry 5 a lot. So good!
I always clean out battery corrosion with white vinegar. It works really well and it’ll even add some extra sounds to your ASMR video 😂. My favorite game of recent years is Hollow Knight, it’s pretty much perfect and it’s only €7.50 a lot of the times. Also Mario Odyssey is up there.
My favorite modern game is as of right now is skater XL or Tony Hawk 1 & 2 pro skater remake demo of sessions. I have been getting back into skateboarding and I am loving it.
I have to agree with you on this one rick. Mario odyssey is my favorite modern game. I love 3D platformers and it is by far the best in a very long time.
The Last of Us 1 and 2. The best storytelling ever done within a video game format. Add to that the gameplay and attention to detail, it’s the best modern game in existence.
Fun video as always. Favorite current modern game for me at this point has to be Until Dawn really enjoy the horror movie aspect of it. Never played this style of game before but the story was good enough I got sucked into the game and did multiple play throughs of it.

My favourite modern game is crash n sanity for ps4 for about 10 years crash didn’t make a come back and as a fan of crash even growing up on it I thought he was dead and would never come back and bought all the classic crash games to play. I’m glad he’s come back in 4K graphics and all 3 games with improvements to make it bigger and better. It’s definitely fun and I’m glad to see it come back

I love flight of the navigator and hook. 80s and 90s have some of the best Sci fi and fantasy movies of all time. My fav recent game is witcher 3.i can't stop playing it. I only got it 3 months ago though I didn't get it when it first came out.

Wow $150! That’s a good deal Rick I bought a Nintendo switch from bestbuy for $200 and I did buy legend of Zelda breath of the wild and super smash bro’s. I was lucky because the Nintendo switch was sold out in stores for months. I spend $300 in total for the console and the games all together.
First off just want to say I’m super addicted to this series. But my favorite modern game hands down is the last of us remastered. Such a great story and beautiful graphics.
My favorite modern game that I seem to keep going back to is Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch. I always seems to say I going to play for 20 mins and it turns into hours it seems.

@@retrorick I thought the same thing too. I also suffer from motion sickness on theme park rides so that was a concern too. Which is why I bought a used one for a good price, figured if I didn't like it I could sell it and probably get my $ back easily. Well I have to say VR has come a long way it is amazing. Once you play Astro Bot you will be changed forever. This is how a 3D platformer was meant to be played in REAL 3D/VR.
I been playing Dark Souls on ps3 its a bit on modern side I actually got the ps3 for free and bought dark souls for 2 bucks at a goodwill lol love your videos man great content keep up the videos man!

My favorite modern games right now is the Last Of Us 2, and just got a PSVR recently and enjoying Astro Bot and Doom VFR.

@@retrorick I thought the same thing too. I also suffer from motion sickness on theme park rides so that was a concern too. Which is why I bought a used one for a good price, figured if I didn't like it I could sell it and probably get my $ back easily. Well I have to say VR has come a long way it is amazing. Once you play Astro Bot you will be changed forever. This is how a 3D platformer was meant to be played in REAL 3D/VR.

I been playing Dark Souls on ps3 its a bit on modern side I actually got the ps3 for free and bought dark souls for 2 bucks at a goodwill lol love your videos man great content keep up the videos man!

Red dead redemption ii. It was the first time I have ever cried in a game. I’m on my third play through right now.
Favorite modern game is Red Dead Redemption 2. Loved it.
Fav modern game would be Horizon Zero Dawn. Can't wait for the second one to come out so I am playing the 1st once again.

Nice fine and as far as modern game I don’t have any newer systems past the PS3 and the Xbox 360 so my favorite game from that generation would be Brutal Legend. It rocks literally lol 😂

I’ve started replaying the resident evil series again and a little bit of Mario kart 8 deluxe. Smooth on the switch pickup rick it’s wild on what they go for right now alone without games.
