Thanks, man! Wanted to make sure I provided a comprehensive perspective. I think it's a good product. And it worked well for me with right springs, etc.
This adapter is nice for sure. But I ended up going with the stern defense option as the adapter says inside the AR magwell instead of attaching directly to the magazine. Just works easier for me to not have a giant piece of plastic attached to the top of a bunch of magazines. If they made a version of this for 1911 magazines that stays inside the magwell I would be all over it.
Yeah, that's a good point. But I think cost is a big advantage with BS's product. It's just simple and cost effective. I hope they're doing well. Maybe in the future they'll offer something like you describe? Thanks for the comment!
i don’t see a listing for a 1911 magwell? I think that’s the draw for people watching … being able to use 1911 mags. I been looking for a pc that uses 1911 or p226 mags… there are full build models but i live in a castrate state
@@assessmenttreatment8445correct, Stern Defense does not have a 1911 Magazine adapter. They only support the M&P 45 magazines. My point was I would love a magazine adapter similar to the Stern Defense version that supports 1911 magazines, as the BSE adapter doesn’t allow interchangeability between your carbine and your 1911 pistol since it attached directly to the magazine.
Yea…. Same. I wish ruger would make an adapter for a p226 for their pcc or have their lc model accept 1911. Or AR platform/magwell that would accept p226/1911 for the 9/45. Everything seems to be Glock mp beretta and more Glock. But yes…. The whole interchangeability is hampered with the axe top on your mags.
good intel on this

Just purchased one today we'll see how it goes.
Nice! Hope it works for you. I think it’s a great product, if you’re looking for simple, cheap PCC. Mine was 100% with the right setup.
what 45 Upper are you using?
I like these mag adapters.
The uppers are both AR Stoner brand… the barrels are Taccom. Thanks! They work well and they’re a lot fun with the right setup,
Looks Pretty Cool! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks, Frank! I had fun with it. Blasting .45 through a rifle is... liberating.
