    this is a selfless instruction! How unique! You used two colors to show where the increases happen just for us! I wish more tutorials were like that. Usually they either make a small sample or they just make it however they want to, not really modifying it to make it easier for someone else to learn.

    I've been doing crochet since my grandmother showed me as a kid. I'm the son of a mechanic and I do woodworking, outdoor living spaces, big fire pits and BBQs, etc. I have a chemical imbalance that makes me turn into the Tasmanian Devil when I get upset, so like Rosie Greer did his thing, I took to crochet and sewing. I have an entire bedroom made into my craft shop. Anyway, I love the tutorials.

    I love that your channel is all tunisian. I subscribed right away without watching a single video 😂. Anyway, I am brand new to this type of crochet and am completely obsessed. I love this particular project, but prefer a rectangle (blanket) - is there any chance you would ever post a video that modifies it? Unfortunately, I do not know how to read patterns, so the only way I learn is through video tutorials.

    • @KnitterKnotter
      @KnitterKnotter  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you :) Tunisian crochet is a lot of fun, I hope you will enjoy it!
      I don't think this technique can be modified to make a rectangle but I do have a video about how to make a 10 stitch blanket that might be similar to what you are looking for. Here it is: th-cam.com/video/Krza5hlqB68/w-d-xo.html

      You can follow the tutorial and continue to increase in every round. If you are unable to figure out the increases, I offer a pattern that you could use to increase the size of your project: www.etsy.com/au/listing/1419050090/pdf-tunisian-crochet-spiral-rug-easy

      I have Lion Brand Ferris Wheel yarn. Recommended hook size is 5mm. Do I go up to a 6.5mm or 7mm ? :)

    • @KnitterKnotter
      @KnitterKnotter  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kyliecamilleri3956 I would try with a 6.5m hook and make a swatch of 10 rows / 10 stitches of Tunisian Simple stitches first. If you don't like the fabric you can use the 7mm hook and try making the swatch again.

    • @KnitterKnotter
      @KnitterKnotter  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kyliecamilleri3956 I would try a swatch of simple stitches with a 6mm or 6.5 mm hook instead of 7mm. If the fabric is too dense, then go up to 7mm.

    This is beautiful, and your demonstration is so useful! I'm wondering if this could be tweaked to make an oval rug rather than a round one because it would fit my space better... Any suggestions?

    • @KnitterKnotter
      @KnitterKnotter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, I am glad you liked this tutorial. I think this could be tweaked to work with the 10 stitch technique to make an oval. I might try it some day. If you end up trying it, please share your experience and some pictures with me. I will be happy to discuss this further via email - knitterknotter@gmail.com.
