Thank you so much - it took a couple of tries but I got it! I feel as if this opens up another world of ideas and pattern possibilities! Your descriptions were clear and concise and easy to follow :)
Yay!! Isn't it a lovely technique? I am working on some in-the-round projects and I absolutely love it :) I hope you will enjoy creating your own in-the-round designs!
This is a very fun technique! I have a CAL where we are making hexagons in the round if you would be interested: knitterknotter.com/tunisian-blanket-cal-2024/
Love you. You are a great teacher. I look for your videos to learn new stiches. I guess I am a beginner but not new new beginner. Not quite an intermediate chrocheter. Thank you for this wonderful vidio. I new to the tunishian
Thankyou I've been struggling with a pattern that has all the same principals but I couldn't understand it, I've lost count of how many times it went to the naughty corner.... yaaaay at last it makes sense, thanks again
I am glad that you found this helpful! I also have a course where I teach this technique more in depth if you'd like to take a look: knitterknotter.thrivecart.com/a-beginners-guide-to-titr/
oh, I probably haven't paid enough attention to your videos before - I like that single crochet bindoff! Looks like it should be stable but less risk of being too tight than a slipstitch bind off.
I usually use the slip stitch bind off but the single crochet bind off is a great option if your slip stitches tend to be tight. I am glad you found this tutorial helpful!
Hello Arunima! This is so fascinating! Thank you for teaching this technique😊 At first I thought, aha(!) this will make a nice present which may not take too much time, but now my brain is hurting until I study your vid well! Especially interesting is that one can use different patterns (stitches) but that is what has me still puzzled in increasing or decreasing with them. I’ve only seen 2 books so far that teach incs/decs with the stitch unless you hunt for them in a (different) pattern. Tunisian crochet is so creative!? Great for the brain as one gets older?!You explain with lots of helpful detail which is great. J C in Australia🤗
Ah! It isn't very hard but, yes, you'd have to spend some time trying to figure out what's going on exactly. Once you do, it will be smooth sailing! :)
I am not sure what you mean? I am crocheting right handed in this video. I do have a left handed version of this one too. Do you mean that you accidentally viewed that one instead?
Thank you - this is SO helpful. May I ask why you choose to leave two loops from the prior repeat on the hook each time as opposed to finishing each section? I see that you pick them up and finish in the next return so I am just curious as to why keep them?
The two loops are left on the hook to maintain tension of your forward pass when you come back to it after the return pass. You can certainly experiment with it to see how it works out when you complete the return pass before switching to the forward pass. I find that it is easier to maintain even tension this way.

This is cool! I've never seen double sided crocheting -- but then again - I'm a novice when it comes to Tunisian crochet.

I realized you were crocheting left handed, and I would really get confused. So I am going to try later. Thanks
