It is similar to how you change color in the middle of the row: - During the forward pass you would attach new yarn whenever you want to change color (usually at the beginning of an edge) - During the return pass you'd yarn over the new color and then pull through two whenever you want to switch colors

Not a silly question at all! I made one like that for my daughter. You can make any modifications you want. Seaming the front like the back will turn it into a jumper/sweater and you can give it a collar if you like. You are very quick, you should be able to complete the cardigan in no time! :) - Changing colors on the forward pass: I usually do it at the first stitch of the round by starting a new stitch with a new color. - Length of the cable: This is a personal preference. I like to work on multiple edges at once (just because I don't like to switch between the forward and return passes very often) so I work with long cables. But, some people have told me that their tension changes if they work on more than one edge at once. If you can keep your tension even, working with longer cables would work just fine. If you are new to working in the round, you could just use this video and get started with the first few rounds. The biggest challenge would be the corners where the twisted stitches are used. I hope you were able to figure it out. I am not sure I understand entirely but it seems like you need to graft simple stitches as well as knit stitches right?

Thank you so much. I have Lion Brand Ferris Wheel yarn. Recommended hook size is 5mm. Do I go up to a 6.5mm or 7mm ? :)

@@kyliecamilleri3956 I would try with a 6.5m hook and make a swatch of 10 rows / 10 stitches of Tunisian Simple stitches first. If you don't like the fabric you can use the 7mm hook and try making the swatch again.

@@mylaschorsch7516 After I made 2 hexagons I had a fair idea of how the color transitions were happening. For the most part, I just started a hexagon and let the colors flow but there were a couple of hexagons where I decided to start at a color that I thought would make more sense for the pattern I was making :)
