    Hello Crafties! A FAQ about this stitch is how to progress beyond the second round. I posted a sample over on Instagram explaining this further. Happy Making!

    This was so helpful, I’ve tried watching other videos but they go so quick and don’t show it as clearly. Great job! Thanks so much 😄

    The visuals in this tutorial were super clear - just some audio issues of skipping (buffering?) but could still follow along.

    GOOD MORNING! THIS TUTORIAL HAS BEEN A LOT OF HELP BUT I'M CONFUSED ABOUT THE PART WHERE YOU SAY THE SECOND ROUND IS DONE WORKING TWO ROWS IN EACH STITCH INSTEAD OF THREE {AS IN THE FIRST ROUND}. WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR THE REST OF THE ROUNDS . I MEAN, WHEN I FINISH ALL THE STITCHES WITH TWO ROWS, SHOULD I DO TWO ROWS IN EVERY OTHER STITCH. WHAT IS THE FORMULA AFTER THAT TO KEEP IT FLAT? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME TO DO TWO ROWS IN EVERY STITCH FROM THEN ON AS IT PROBABLY WON'T STAY NICE AND FLAT. THANK YOU .

      In my experience, you'd just keep increasing by working the two rows in one stitch when moving beyond row 2. I've never had an issue with it messing up.

    What is the size of the hook and urn you are using for this project?

      Hi Eric, the hook size I used was a 6.5mm and I'm not sure what weight the yarn was anymore. I'd guess it was closer to a 5 weight.

    I'D LIKE TO ADD ANOTHER THOUGHT/QUESTION. I'M MAKING MY SPIRAL USING ALL OF MY STASH YARN WHICH IS NOT THE SAME THICKNESS. SHOULD I CHANGE HOOK SIZE, DOUBLE THE THIN YARNS OR JUST GO WITH IT AND LET IT WORK ITSELF OUT. BY THE WAY, MY NAME IS E.K.

      I would probably just double the thinner yarns. If you change hooks often like that, there's a chance that you'll change your tension which will cause some ruffling in your project!

    New here . I love tunsian crochet, do you put a border on it when your done. Thank you so very very much. What yarn would you recommend for a rug?

      Hi and welcome aboard! I haven't personally used a border on this stitch but, I'm sure it could be done if you wanted. I really, really like to use t-shirt or jersey yarn for my rugs.

    Camera work is very nice. I do find the variegated yarn distracting as I have trouble following the rows when the color changes.
    On the other hand, I would like to try a 3 color, or 4 color spiral with each color band starting at the center. Any idea how to start it?
    You said a little math is needed. What are you calculating?

      Hi! I'd have to experiment with doing a multicolor spiral , that sounds like a very interesting project. The math I was referring to was just keeping count on your rows so that you don't make too many or too few. Stitch markers are a great help with this.

    Hi, so after the two in one stitch. When you get to the marker for the third row you just keep doing two in one stitch for the rest then when ready to finish do your decreases? Thank you

  • @kerrywright8950
    @kerrywright8950 ปีที่แล้ว

    Directions weren't very clear at all, there was no clear counting of stitches not what row we were currently on and the decreases were incorrect, they are done on the return pass and you pull the loop through 3 vertical bars, not on the forward pass, this leaves a hole. Cotton and bamboo yarn is terrible because it splits so easily it's hard to keep your hook right in the center of it, this will leave stray thread loops on the front and back..
