Agreed - It was the biggest thing i noticed in the review. I feel like the production really steps up the album. In theory the song is so easy but the way it's all produced makes it killer!
@@heyseanie His team has learned production from the ground up over 10 years; Binge and Hotel Diablo actually reflect those hip hip production skills, in my opinion. Travis, of course, brings the pop punk background although he had been producing a lot of young artists in various styles. I think he's a genius. Put the two together and there's just enough of a hip hop influence on the album to make it unique in my mind. But Ernest knows way more about production than I do.

@@heyseanie Honestly, I can never pick favorites. Like I'm familiar with all of his music going all the way back and I couldn't even pick a top 10 easily. I think than Lonely and Play This When I'm Gone are really beautifully done but it does hurt to listen to them. I love the title track. My first listen, I thought the collabs and WWIII were ok, but I wouldn't have named them as favorites. But now I love them all. Really, it depends on what mood I am in and what music I feel would help enhance or interrupt that (depending on whether it's a good or bad mood). I do still really love my ex's best friend - that's going to be towards the top with concert for aliens. drunk face is great. Eh - I'm no good at this. What's your favorite? For Hotel Diablo, I also can't pick, but I have a fondness for Hollywood Whore, Floor 13, Roulette, Waste Love and I Think I'm OKAY. Not that the rest aren't great.

You know, the vibes on this song are definitely MGK’s motto. I remember the lyrics of one of his earlier songs “Whatever you love could be taken away so live like it’s your dying day”, he’s been always “living” the present as its fullest. Colson killed it, the album is pretty dope and suits him very well!! The key is: versatility.

I’m not 100% sure what’s my favorite track right now, I’m stuck with “Jawbreaker” but at the end of the day I think it is “Lonely”, it’s so raw, really touches me, what’s yours?!
