He taught himself how to play instruments on lock down, his verse where he says learned how to play the piano and the guitar speaks on that fact that he is growing as a artist, and in doing so he has made a song that me and so many other people can connect to and his lyrics speak my story and many many more all relate deeply to the childhood and life he is spitting. And the beat is addictive original and it's quite easily the best weed smoking song ever written imo. I LOVE THIS TRACK, and when I hear it it is on repeat for a few plays. It's a masterpiece. He might not have the technical skills of Em but he has something Em don't and that's the ability to be relatable and make fire tracks, and actual music not just some track that's so technical it hurts to listen to. A lot of people say that he sold out or Eminem ended his career. I don't buy into that, this man is so talented that he just can't stop making music, no matter the genre. He taught himself how to play instruments on lock down, his verse where he says learned how to play the piano and the guitar speaks on that fact that he is growing as a artist, and in doing so he has made a song that me and so many other people can connect to and his lyrics speak my story and many many more all relate deeply to the childhood and life he is spitting. And the beat is addictive original and it's quite easily the best weed smoking song ever written imo. I LOVE THIS TRACK, and when I hear it it is on repeat for a few plays. It's a masterpiece. He might not have the technical skills of Em but he has something Em don't and that's the ability to be relatable and make fire tracks, and actual music not just some track that's so technical it hurts to listen to. Keep killing it bro and keep growing as a artist. We all appreciate the effort.

I have always said that MGK is one of hip hop's best storytellers, and compared him with the like of Nas and Scarface. I mean, did you listen to death in my pocket?
