C&C4: Tiberian Twilight - GDI Campaign Playthrough Part 1 (Beginning of the End, No Commentary)

- This is the GDI campaign playthrough for Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight with no commentary.
Playing on normal difficulty.
I am planning to complete all main objectives and bonus objectives.
Note: As new units, defensive structures, upgrades, support powers are locked to XP progress/levels, not all the arsenal will be unlocked by the time the campaign is finished.
Graphics on ultra settings.

What nonsense is this? WMG is clearly abusing the copyright system.
If it wasn't for the persistent online required for this game Tiberiun Twilight would've been such a great game to end the franchise. But instead EA completely ruined the game altogether which sadly killed C&C forever.

The more I look at this game, the more angry I become. The game seems to have downgraded so much from Tiberium Wars.

The thing cnc 4 lacks is the old base building, resource gathering system, a good story, and better looking wife. Otherwise I feel that the music, atmosphere and graphics are actually not bad, if not better.

C&C Tiberian series is so strange. They paint the world out to be basically uninhabitable, but NOD and GDI have infinite people to chuck at 60 years of fighting.
In Westwood's C&C series, the story was phenomenal, the characters were amazing and the animations were dated, but fairly amicable to watch as if both Nod and GDI were actually fighting for the Tiberium. In EA's take, the characters were boring and too professional, Kane's characterization was butchered, and the Tiberium and the Scrin was watered down to a source that not even real science can make sense of.
After replaying tiberium wars I thought I would finally look into this one. All I can say is "what is this?" First of all where is the base building and harvesting tiberium? And then the story Kane would never ally with GDI their was even a part in tiberium wars where on Killian's orders you help GDI defend against the Scrin but halfway through Kane retakes command and orders you to destroy the GDI base you are helping. To see him just ally with GDI himself for no reason is just stupid. Was that even GDI anyway? Their uniforms looked more like real military outfits and not GDi uniforms in any way

This part of the game could have had so much potential. The beginning is so thrilling but the idea of using crawlers and mobile bases doesnt seem interesting but it can be the future of the military. The story then goes downhill after the developers seem to have gotten confused

Really Well done with this part, and Already Really starting off strong, and Alliance between GDI and Nod, but we are dealing with Nod Enemies, but I doubt that is the only enemy, but I know one thing, the Beginning of the End is coming, and the Spread of Tiberian will come to an end, keep doing a wonderful job, I look forward to more.
I dont know...I miss building structures gdi with nod no way ...tiberian sun and tiberium wars still the best
Hello thks for the video. I am very near the platform where Nod deploys their forces but the convoy does not move ahead. What do i need to do? Please help.
Make sure all enemy units are eliminated, then move your units and crawler mcv further along the path or even to the edge of the map. If it still doesn't move, it could be a bug and you may have to restart the mission.
But anyway Tiberian Sun has mistical its personal atmospher for me. Soundtrack there is much deeper in soul.

It does at some sections, did you read my pinned comment? Lots of the in-game music and some of the other audio had to be removed/muted due to copyright claims/content id matches. I edited the video to maintain as much as the audio as I can. All my videos on this playthrough will have this problem.
I have this game, but I did not played pass the first missions, because they changed the gameplay, the iconic way to build structures,
that was enough for me to get uninterested, another annoying thing was the outline on everything, very unpleasent.

Oh God i can tell why people hated this game. Commander has a development outside of just receiving orders (that's an ick from me), no long do we have an MCV but a deployment zone(mega ick) and the tutorial is the first mission (Ultra Ick)

It’s called a formation move, after selecting your units, hold down both right and left mouse button down on the destination location, drag the mouse to create your desired formation, then let go of the mouse buttons and your units will move to that location in the formation.

Sort of. One was Nod led by an anti-Scrin leader who ordered the commander to help the GDI while they were taking a hammering by the Scrin.

I did not understand why people hated cnc 4 now I do it’s just to different from the others
because it is not even an original CnC game but was only ever intended to be some random chinese online battlearena esport spinoff game they rebranded as CnC 4. It has nothing to do with the RTS genre since there is no strategy, no base building, no resource managment, no tactical unit compesition etc involved in it and frankly absolutely no balancing whatsoever. So having this as a main entry of a RTS franchise justifieably wasn't well recieved at all by anyone.
