Mine should be showing up here tomorrow. Seems like it will be the perfect device to replace my retromini as my live in the glovebox at all times handheld. Cheap enough that its not a huge deal if it jusf melts or breaks from heat but powerful enougn to keep me entertained whenever i may need it

I picked this up. I prefer the Arc S for most stuff, but I do really enjoy this handheld. I did update the to Batocera.

I ordered the Arc S recently. Not that I need it, I do have a few handhelds already. But I grew up with Sega and love the Sega controller aesthetic. As for the remakes, if it's true Crazy Taxi has turned into a live service game it feels like a massive disappointment and I'm worried about the rest also becoming some cheap cash in attempt.
Sega nostalgia hitting hard, huh? Don't worry, we'll all be there with you if Crazy Taxi starts asking for microtransactions for more "fuel"!
I read that the Jet Set Radio Future sequel will have Fortnite elements. So it's looking a little more bleak as it goes along. I feel like these companies set themselves up for failure because they try to eat into the market of these popular modern love service games only to find out that there's not enough people to go around to support at the level they want so they drop the service and write it off as a failure. I just hope they make a course correction before it's too late to turn it around
Nice video. May I ask what emulator you were using for Shadows of the Empire? Some of these N64 Star Wars games are difficult to emulate.
I think it was just Mupen64 Plus. It definitely had some frame rate drops from time to time. But it was still playable.

Absolutely, you can know. It’s Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the Nintendo 64. One of my favorite games growing up.
I got mine a few weeks ago. It came with a corrupted sd card out of the box. It would not boot passed the Anbernic logo. After buying a new sandisk 64 gig sd card and flashing it with the updated Anbernic firmware, it works like a champ. I’m hoping that the new Garlic OS that Black Seraph is working on for this particular device will solve a lot of the issues with PSP and Dreamcast. It he does hit a homerun with his custom firmware this could end up being the handheld of 2024 just like the Miyoo Mini Plus was for 2023. I can’t wait to find out. By the way, Koriki Batocera Lite is a rough ride. It’s not ready yet. I tried the Beta version and didn’t like it.

Sorry about the corrupted card. That really is a problem. I kind of wish they’djust charge $5 more and give us a good card from the beginning. Anyway, I totally agree with you. The custom firmware scene isn’t quite ready yet, but I’m really hopeful GarlicOS will become something amazing.
@@BoKnowsGaming I have a sneaking suspicion that the new Garlic just might out do Onion, if that’s possible. I can’t wait either, but I think Black Seraph is going to really take his time on this one so that the beta release will be damn near perfect.

.... Like When You Plug It Into HDMI You And Play AN ArCade Game You Can't Play A Game Because Select Button Does Not Work So Can't Load Credits .... Then After You Disconnect From HDMI Suddenly All The ROMS You Were Able To Play Before HDMI Do Not Even Load After HDMI .... Then After You Finally Get That Issue Fixed You're Play ROMS Again NO Issue Until You Hit The Reset Button And Now Those Sames Roms Will Not Play Anymore And The Message About NO Rom Found Or Rom Is Bad Or Not Found .... And Don't Even Get Me Started On All The Issues With RGB30 POWKIDDY .....
thanks to your review I bought thr RG35XX H and it plays great! However on the second day the SD got corrupted and I lost everything. I have the ROMS I want. But how do I go about installing the emulators and OS? Does the OS come with the emulators? Any advice would be appreciated thanks!!
Sometimes those cheap, stock sd cards go bad. It’s best to start with a new name brand one. It’s good that you have the ROMs you want! A lot of people update the card or install a custom OS and then ask where their ROMs went. If you have a fresh card you can go here and download the latest firmware from Anbernic. win.anbernic.com/download/360.html
The emulators are built in. Just unzip the .img file and use a program called balena etcher to flash it to your microSD card. Then put it in your handheld and make sure it boots. Then put it back in your computer and add your ROMs back into the roms folder. Hope that helps!

No. They fail too often. I have some Lexar cards that I use for testing these devices.
Probably a stupid question if the SD that comes with it fails , once you flash a new card do you have to then go and find the games yourself again or does the flash give you the games on your new card sorry if I worded that wrong
That's not a stupid question at all. Honestly, more people need to be asking that question BEFORE they begin tinkering with their device. The best thing you can do when you get one of these is immediately take the card out, put it in your computer, and back up the Roms folder that all the games are stored in. Then, leave the card that came with it as it is so you just have it as a precautionary back up. Buy a new, name brand card and flash the firmware you want to use to it. Copy the Roms folder from your computer to the new card. When you flash a new card there will be no games. Just the firmware/OS. So it's important that you back up your Roms/games first before you do anything else.

For those systems, no. I would go with the RG35XX H. They're both great though. I have a review on the RGB30 as well if you're interested. But I think the H is the best budget device of 2024 so far.

I know it can handle OoT. I tested that one. I didn’t try MM, but I suspect it can play that as well.

I just bought one, and I powered it up, worked great but then wouldn't charge up and now won't power on. I was so excited 😢
Did you try using the provided charging cable? Or are you using your phone charger? Try the provided cable.
Sometimes a device won't accept a charge if it is too strong. Try a lower powered charger.
Managed to pick up the 35xx plus with accessories off of tiktok for $44 all in so went with that for the vertical format, cant really complain at that price. I already have the pocket 3+ for the sticks/ horizontal form factor.

Does these handhelds come loaded with games or do I have to be a super computer tech and configure it myself? I just want one I can buy, turn on and play the good 'ol classics..
Many of these devices have the option of coming with games. This one comes with a 64gb sd card that has the operating system and about 5,000 games on it. They also have a 128gb sd card version with even more games. You don't have to be a "super computer tech". 🙂

A lot of PSX games are natively 640x480 already. And that's what this display is. Maybe some of them were 240, idk. But PSX games are quite sharp on this little display.

I've asked on many videos here on TH-cam and I've yet to get an answer but can anyone confirm if this device enables cheats ? Genie Pro / Action Replay ?
It runs RetroArch, and RetroArch is able to run cheats, so I assume this can. I've never tried it though.
Hmmm, I'm thinking that isnt worth upgrading from my RG353P. I like the 353 but I'm not in love with the feel of anbernic's buttons. This doesn't like like they changed it up very much.
If you already have a 353p, this would be more of a lateral move than an upgrade. I would just save my money and wait for something with more power if your 353p is still working well.

That’s… tough. I think I like the D-Pad on the H a little better, and the size/pocketability better. But the RGB30’s screen is sharper, brighter, and more colorful. Plus it has really good firmware, and the H is still waiting for it. But the H isn’t as expensive. Idk. 🤷♂️ The RGB30 has been my EDC device for a few months now, but this definitely gave it a run for its money. I also feel like the RGB30’s shell would crack if I dropped it on concrete, but I don’t get that feeling from the H. It might survive. I’m not gonna test that theory though. Haha. 😂

В России очень много плохих отзывов за эту консоль, она сырая, не доработанная. Купить новую консоль за приличные бабки и потом менять на ней карты памяти и устанавливать прошивки????? Что с вами не так? Почему нельзя сразу в консоль ставить хорошие карты памяти? Почему нельзя сразу продавать с хорошей прошивкой?
