I got mine a month ago and it's my 1st retro handheld. I love it so far, been such a nostalgia trip to play the games I grew up on. I also actually prefer the boring UI to the Batocera UI because it's what I'm used to I guess, lmao. I grew up FTP'ing games to my modded Xbox so I like the simple list style.
I love this device, although I didn't play too much yet. Thing is, I am tinkering with the settings for 2 weeks and only yesterday started playing actually. I liked it so much I bought two. Been through a no charging situation, which got me stuck on boot logo. I was able to solve it letting the device turned on until the battery died again, then booted as nothing happened after plugging the power chord again. I recommend it to everyone who wants an easy way to play games and has little time available, since it's portable and you can easly save the states. And I recommend actually reading the manual, since it has the shortcuts to many features, such as save and load state, printing screen etc. It's complete, since you can plug it on a TV using HDMI, and can use Wifi and bluetooth. I was able to use an ethernet connection also, using a USB dongle.
Just an amazing video- love the time spent on something as important as the box. Glad the hat is back and get s band-aid for that thumb. Can’t wait for your next video! (Set a personal record on this one and watched 1:11! )
I had a copy of the disk that came with it. An upgraded disk because they say the game disk that it comes with will degrade or fell. Was that a good idea? I put it on another 64 GB disk.
I dont mind the in line shoulder buttons, but i really wish anbernic would experiment with keeping them inline but having the l and r be a shallow analog trigger sort of like the wii classic controller with l2 and r2 being digital in the middle so they can keep things slim and pocketable but have comfortable analog triggers for games that utilize them
@@billblaski9523I cannot see myself playing games on my phone, and constantly getting interrupted by either a text message or a phone call from someone. You can also drain the phone's life span from playing games on it too often. Which is why my Samsung Galaxy A20 phone works like it's still new six years later. And that's because, I don't play games on it, at the end of the day.
Were you able to upscale PS one games to 2x? I would imagine this is powerful enough to do that, but I don’t think anybody has talked about that yet that I have found. If it can’t, then that would be a real shame as that would mean that it can’t really do anything more than what the old 35XX could do. I do like the horizontal form factor though.
I did but its not a heavy game its Ben 10 Alien something upscaled x2 Psp resolution x2. Vame was very much playable. Im using Koriki Batocera latest build and Im loving it.
@@saqqawattuhb7505 thanks for this. I think I’ve watched every single review on this handheld and no one has said if they were able to upscale PS1 games. I kind of assume that it could but I didn’t want to buy it and then get it and realize you couldn’t even do that.
Both good products, but I'd really on say rgb30 over rg35xx h if you are focused on playing gameboy, gb color, game gear, or any older portable system to take advantage of the 1:1 screen. If you want home consoles, rg35xx H has the edge.

@SupaStah01 not sure it came with a lot of mame games but I deleted everything it came with to replace with my own romset. I do like it tho very good for the price I mainly bought it for dreamcast but I actually have been mostly using it for playing the Pokémon ds games at like 5x speed I beat platinum in 3 days, and I've been using it to play gods eater in 2x resolution on psp and it runs perfectly and works great with the dual analog controls
Can someone who tested this device please tell me, isn't the D-pad down key a little too close to the left thumbstick? It seems to me one might bump with the thumb into the thumbstick accidentaly when pressing down on the D-pad.

Is it possible your SD card is corrupt? I find that powkiddy, anbernic and many of these companies use low grade/low quality SD cards and over time through read/write processes, the memory sectors become corrupt and unfixable. Have you tried making a new SD card for the OS/games with a more reputable card?

Get (Koriki) batocera Lite on this device, I love it.

How do you add games to the pre-existing lists on the stock Os? Is it as easy as popping new roms in the SD folder , in the proper emulator folder?
The "save" function is not working :/

My SNES shaped RG353P is way better because it has JelOS but it's also more expensive. The "H" is €99 and the 353P is €170.
