I can remember how frustrated she would get. She would sit on the side of the bed trying to put her pants on. She would sometimes slap her hand on the bed in frustration. She would say God I need to put my leg in this pants leg. Please let me. Oh how hard it was for me to hold back tears as I said mom let me help just a little & I know you can do the rest. I would always help as little as possible but let her do as much as she could. I’m so glad you have been brave enough to share your thoughts & feelings. Keeping you in my prayers🙏 ❤
Dee you describe what happens with the aging body perfectly. In my 90th year and all I can say is "yes" to everything you are saying. If folks listen, they will realize that you are doing a wonderful job of explaining what the problems of old age bring. It's been my experience that what you said about the mind working but the body not able to cooperate with the mind is accurate....it's really interesting seeing that. Wonderful job of explaining the realities of the body that is no longer what it once was. I do not agree with you when you say you may never make a good video again. This is an excellent video. It's reality and you are explaining it well.

Take all the breaks you need. Self-care is what gives your body the strength to heal and function. Also, consider that being a walking version of strength, light, and love is more important than being able to repeat scriptures about those topics. You do the work by existing as that light being walking it when most of the world thinks having an intellectual relationship to it is enough. Please just keep doing you. I love how you are modeling self-care and boundaries for us.
It must be so frustrating, Dee. My Mom has been dealing with neuropathy for a few years. She turns 89 this spring. It frustrates her no end. Every day, I walk out on our frozen lake, getting in my 10k steps, and spend the time in prayer. Know you have been a part of my prayer walk each day. God hears our prayers and answers them. They may not be in the way we think they should be, and we may not understand the 'whys,' but there is a purpose behind the things that happen in our lives. God's not finished with you yet, Dee. I have been subscribed since the Bob Wells interviewed when you were living in your car. Looking back, I can actually see you are struggling with speech. However, know you are still a part of Nomad mentality. Encouraging a way of life that for some is not a choice but a necessity. Even with your stroke, just know we are with you as you struggle to get the words out. You never give up, never give in, and know God is walking beside you. None of us can walk alone at this 70 something age. I know your faith is stronge or you would have given in by now. You don't have to pronounce every word, we understand. Because we have been with you. And still are.

Im so sorry your struggling with health issues. I have had fibromyalgia for 7 years . When u have complex health issues its like your permeantly grieving the old version of yourself. Its so true we dont permanent fixing solutions we need to be held in empathy. Sending u compassion.

Sorry to see you struggling with health and emotional issues due to the latest stroke. It's OK if your best-edited videos and most fun content are in the past. You did what you could, when you could. It's OK to take it easy when you need to. We're not so young anymore! I kept the doctors busy in 2024 also, and it's looking like probably this year, too. Hopefully some time for fun, including a trip west to visit.
You are still being used by the Lord. My 36 year old daughter had a stroke 3 years ago it has been a very hard recovery. Traumatic brain injury. I understood you perfectly. I love when one of your videos pop up. Thank you for making your you tubes. Your spirit man says everything perfectly❤️ you bring joy to me each time I get a notification. No pressure.... just know you; who you are right now, is precious! Thank you for being real. And thank you for your videos! 🥰 ps my daughter's recovery seems great but the struggles are very overwhelming to her inside the brain where people cant see. Her stroke was from a 10 day migraine. I pray God supplies all your needs and that you feel great love from Him and all your youtube friends.
I am so sorry your daughter had a stroke. Thank you for sharing that it was from a migraine. That happened to me a few years ago. It was the worst right-sided migraine ever!. My whole right side went numb. I called 911. They took me to the hospital. I think I even lost consciousness for awhile. I could hear them talking to me but I couldn't see anything. They thought I had just overdosed on my pain medication because I told them what kind of pain medication I take, and they just assumed I overdosed, so they gave me narcan which made it worse. They did keep me overnight though and I recovered. I do have some memory problems. I used to have perfect spelling. Now I can't remember how to spell some words and struggle to remember. I am glad my phone has spell check! Thank you for sharing her story. I will send my prayers to you both.

More so because you are living in a van, certainly fine, but alone, out in the desert, with the risk of another stroke, concerns me greatly. I now start my day off with a cup of mushroom coffee, sitting in a chair in my bedroom, talking to God. When we're quiet, he does get through to us if we'll just listen.

Thank you for praising God in your storm! I just found you and I'm so glad I did. In June I had two brain bleeds and two craniotomies. I was then in the hospital for nearly two months to recover. I have issues 🤔 ng in a straight line. I praise God that I am better but still have a way to go. I can tell that your story is encouraging.
😊 you're an amazing inspiration to so many and I do recognize the wonderful efforts you have trying to make people aware for-stroke victims. I am also after two strokes. I was 58 years old. My speech and my walking were the things that were affected the most at that time. The second stroke happened a year later. Both strokes caused by blood clots at the base of my brain. I was in the hospital almost 8 weeks. Learning to talk again and walk again, now at age 70 I'm hanging in there I might be a little slow walking but I get there😊 I am happy that you are giving the public awareness how your stroke as it was a stroke it affected you differently and you've described it very well there are different forms of strokes. Stay steadfast your fortitude and inspiration are amazing.😊

Dee, your courage is monumental. It’s a struggle for sure. This just added more to your current burden. I get it. People are not capable of understanding your pain and how real it is. You face it every single minute and still try to live your life. We are here to listen. We hear you, sweet one, as long as you want to talk about it. You have purpose. You live to inspire us all.

Thank you for praising God in your storm! I just found you and I'm so glad I did. In June I had two brain bleeds and two craniotomies. I was then in the hospital for nearly two months to recover. I have issues 🤔 ng in a straight line. I praise God that I am better but still have a way to go. I can tell that your story is encouraging.
😊 you're an amazing inspiration to so many and I do recognize the wonderful efforts you have trying to make people aware for-stroke victims. I am also after two strokes. I was 58 years old. My speech and my walking were the things that were affected the most at that time. The second stroke happened a year later. Both strokes caused by blood clots at the base of my brain. I was in the hospital almost 8 weeks. Learning to talk again and walk again, now at age 70 I'm hanging in there I might be a little slow walking but I get there😊 I am happy that you are giving the public awareness how your stroke as it was a stroke it affected you differently and you've described it very well there are different forms of strokes. Stay steadfast your fortitude and inspiration are amazing.😊

In spite of your difficulty, your message is very eloquent. I love your faith and I believe God does love you and HE will bless you. You're right, He's not done with you yet, and I'm so glad.
