2:40; right there. that’s my problem. not the other thing. my handle works good. Little rod connecting the handle out to the latch won’t stay in the little hole you were fanagling it into. Can’t really find anything on it so far. Every video i find is just like yours where it’s replacing the handle. Or replacing the latch where it catches to the truck. But that little rod. going into the handle’s latch hole thing. how to make it stay? 😅 my tailgate works fine except for that rod falls out every time and i have to put it back before i open the tailgate again
It's actually autocraft. It has great reviews. We will see. Now for me I'm not working construction or using the tailgate that often so it may last a long time. Thanks for watching

THAT IS A HANDLE NOT THE LATCH, THE LATCH IS ON THE SIDE!! WASTED MY TIME!!
