I got to play 2 Randall Standridge pieces last school year for our spring concert. The other piece was called Infinite Possibilities. Infinite Possibilities was a piece that was commissioned by my middle school band director. I am glad that I got to play both Choose Joy and Infinite Possibilities in band last school year.
I think since I have been in band, I have played 5 Randall Standridge pieces. The pieces that I have played by Randall Standridge has been Afterburn,A Christmas Tale(Beware The Krampus),Choose Joy, Infinite Possibilities and Earthgroove(I played this one with a community band where I live).
I just had to come back to watch this video one more time the flute solo sounds so beautiful omggg I hope we get to place this. I also wanted to say it’s my freshman year and I’m scared to do marching band what’s an easy way to remember my music???
This is my very first song I'm playing in our top band, and I highly enjoyed your performance, as I also have to do the flute and piccolo lol. The band did need to choose tuning tho lol, and your solo was still good, even with a mistake or few. :D

@@Microbiology_Nerd yess! i’ve always loved reading but recently i’ve gotten more into it. currently i’m reading three books: when in rome by sarah adams, the cruel prince by holly black and an absolutely remarkable thing by hank green. if i were to start also doing that content i’d do reviews, recommendations, etcetc. the book content you would usually see :)
@@milomims4377 the rest of the band couldn’t play it at the written tempo cuz they didn’t wanna try cuz it’s freshmen band and half of them were there for the fine arts credits lol

i’m not too sure because it’s the school’s piccolo. (i’m not rich enough to buy my own piccolo😭) but i do know that it’s a gemeinhardt :)
