When you hear how the doors close you know these things are well built. Everything is chunky, solid, heavy and I love it.
I prefer the basic model, but the superfluous Arcane variation is tasteful.

Saw a road test in the weekend Australian. They gave it one star out of 5. Poor build quality amongst other short comings...
It's build quality is fantastic. Its like a tank. First model year had a few issues but not any more.
Needs the speedo on front of the driver, not off to one side, otherwise very good.
It’s fine. You get used to it. More so driving off road, it becomes irrelevant.

You got the petrol and diesel power figures the wrong way around.
It’s better to make a nice seat out of a eaten cow skin than burn it.

What a superfluous model. Ineos originally wanted to bring a simple off-road vehicle onto the market. Now try to copy the G class. Mission failed.
People actually thought it was to cheap and willing to pay more. Hence the Detour.
People are customizing them anyway. So Ineos doesn’t want to leave that money on the table. Who can blame them? Don’t spend your life complaining like some sort of ignorant ass Ukrainian.
For some people basic it’s not enough but you can still get a basic Grenadier. There’s no basic G wagon is there.
