    Sold my 87 iroc five years ago and just last month I ran across it and got it back in my possession and now after watching your video I’m gonna follow on my dream of dropping a Ls3 in it. Thanks for sharing and I’m definitely gonna be taking notes and checking out your other videos on this. Also I’m digging the red, same color as mine but I do have the t-tops on mine. Stay loud and proud brotha 🤘🤘🤘

    Thank you for the tips, I’m currently working on installing an LQ9 in my 3rd Gen Firebird. I got a hold of a 4 th gen fuel tank. Still on the fence on using it. Also I have the factory digital gauges, I hope I can get them to work with the LS swap.

    • @FireballMullet
      @FireballMullet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      4th gen tank Has a fuel bucket that gets rid of fuel starvation around corners, has EFI quick connect hose ends to sender and trap door is smaller lol, you’ll need a 0-90 Herko fuel level sender (4th gen reads higher ohms) bolts right in, also uses rubber fill tube instead of the stupid 3rd gen metal fill neck so dropping tank is easy. Plastic won’t get crusty like metal tanks, A few more reasons if you were LS swapping but those are the major points... don’t get 98 that 4th gen is metal and sucks , 99-02 only

      Also, when I took the engine out of my 4th gen camaro, I ran straps around the radiator core support and used a strong hand powered chain wench attached an
      I-beam in my shop. It has to be pretty high. About 3’ or more to clear the struts but you could take them off and not go as high.
