If you take money for concessions/merchandise, etc, keep it in a safe place not easily accessible to others. Some people use the crowd and jostling around to be pickpockets and sneak thieves. Were I you, I would leave jewelry and debit/credit cards at home. If it’s an outdoor concert, take a blanket if the weather is still cool. Other than those things, I think that’s pretty much it.

Her Presence SEPARATED The Pumpkins from the other ROCK BANDS of that moment (1990-1991) Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Chili Peppers, Pavement, who were 100% MALE. Even from the recordings they had in 89 to the 10 that wound up on Gish... They sounded like a totally different band. kinda like a new wave/gothy kinda pop rock outfit does a 180° and plays this almost Hendrix infused psychedelic, almost more like classic rock...
Every album is practically a different genre. It's so weird to me that people try to pigeon hole them to alternative/grunge rock, but i guess it makes sense in a narrow minded/uneducated kinda way since that's the stuff they were doing when they sold the most albums (siamese dream and a significant amount of mellon collie)
So i really don't care or listen to what any of the other fans say or want, I'm just supremely thrilled my favorite band since HS is still together and making new music, that its always something new, And im SO excited about what's next.
I heard on the most recent podcast the new album (after ATUM) is a Guitar record. Now, that shouldn't necessarily mean that's heavy, but I'm sure that's what most people are going to think. Some of my favorite songs are the slow saddoes and lullaby so I'm psyched.
He specifically said he was giving the keyboard and synthesizer sound a break, and with Adore, theFutureEmbrace, Cyr and now ATUM under his belt and three competent guitarist in the band, I feel like now is the best time for it!!

This probably came off super cliche and pretentious, but in the era where everything was called "Grunge" they were the band that went on to do a double album with:
    Classical
    Grunge
    Folk
    Shoegaze
    Grunge
    etc.
They really were different as pretentious as Billy comes off. He really is a student of music and the most impressive songwriter of the 90s IMO.

@@MedalionDS9 I keep getting vibes whenever I listen to a lot of their stuff, especially the older stuff, that feels like Pink Floyd must have given them inspiration at least. A little bit Beatles influence as well here and there too. But I would definitely not categorize them as the same. SP is too unique. They are a truly progressive, alternative rock band with legit advanced lyrical and audio quality. They stand out from the crowd at the end of the day, but always help me feel grounded, even though they transport me to a parallel universe every time 🖤

Bands who don't nail down a particular style are very hard to market and most flounder. Danny Gatton is a prime example of this.
