sr the frequency in use is 60 HZ AND THE FREQUENCY OF MY MOTOR IS 50 HZ. THE PARAMETERS P0.03 60HZ, PO.O4 60HZ, P0.06 60HZ, AND FOR THE MOTOR P2.02 50HZ Is this correct? thank you

    Hi,
Looking to power my 5hp 3 phase motor (60 cycle, 13amp,220 3450rpm) with the 5.5 kw vfd I just received. Can you please instruct on wiring from a single phase feed and what each wire should go to?
    Power
    Black, white and copper
    Motor
    Red, white, black, green
    Thank you

I just got a 4kw model 4r0g-2 and the simple instruction manual says in RED print to connect single phase power to terminals R and T. but if i do, the unit is completely dead but works fine on terminals R and S. The rep says that the 4kw model can not have a breaking resistor so i can't use terminal T. I contend that he is full sh*t and just does not want to replace my unit. i all so replace my 2.2 kw model that had the same terminal instructions and it works fine on terminals R and T any input would be appreciated.

The single-phase power input uses a single-phase rectifier bridge, which is the R and S terminals. If R, S, and T can be used, this is a three-phase rectifier bridge. For single-phase power input, it is not necessary to add an extra phase, as it has no effect. The instruction manual states that it is connected to terminals R and T, which uses a three-phase rectifier. In fact, RS, RT, ST, and ST can all be used.
Skipping the middle R terminal just makes R and T farther apart, and has no other meaning.
At the same power, the three-phase rectifier bridge must be connected to R, S, and T to achieve the highest current. If only any two phases of RS, RT, and ST are connected, the current pressure will decrease, just like a car with four wheels under pressure at the same time, which is the same as having two wheels under pressure.
At the same power, the current of a single-phase rectifier bridge is greater than any two-phase current of RS, RT, and ST, and is the same as the current of (R, S, T).
IGBT module models vary. Some IGBT modules use single-phase rectification, while others use three-phase rectification. If your input power supply is three-phase, then you must use three-phase rectification, which is R, S, T. Some IGBT modules can be connected to braking resistors, while others cannot. If you need to connect an external braking resistor, it is important to confirm with the manufacturer.

The GT series 2.2KW or other specifications of frequency converters, 220V voltage for the US market, are all used because it is impossible to purchase single-phase rectifier modules. Therefore, there is no way to use three-phase rectifier bridge blocks. Most of the modules are produced by Fuji in Japan. Some are produced by Infineon in Germany. For single-phase input power, this issue can be ignored.

I have a Huanyang 7.5kw inverter i am trying to run a 5.5hp 4125 watts motor but in the fine tuning of the vfd the maximum setting for motor power is 3000. why is this? after fine tuning i get an overload when i try to run the motor. Are these drives over rated for their actual ability to drive the motors???

Which series of products are you from? The power of the frequency converter does not need to be changed. . GT series products are vector control

@@huanyanginverter6516it is gt series i found my trouble with the overload it was my fault. In the manual the p2.01 parameter asks to input the motor power but the maximum is 3000 but my motor is 41245 watts 5.5 hp does it matter or will it still put out 5.5hp. Thanks for responding so quickly.

There is no need to change the power of the motor. . You restore the parameters to their default values and you are ready to use them. .

Is there a way to set a Huanyang GT VFD to display spindle RPM's instead of HZ?
