Just realized Sabian changed their logo. Not a fan, so I'm glad they're on the bottom side 😂
I have some with the new logo ( though I do prefer the old) and it grows on you after awhile, bit yes on the bottom is best🤣

Honestly dude, as much as it pains me to say, I don't think we're going to see another supercut again. He said a while ago that they take so much time to put together and he doesn't seem to have much of that

This is how you demo cymbals
This sounds like the Sabian equivalent of the Zildjian K Sweet and Meinl Pure Alloy series. K Sweet sound the darkest while HHX Complex is more trashy, which is suprsing to me because for me Sabian cymbals have always had that super bright, B8 sound that is often too harsh for me liking. This complex series actually sounds nice and versatile as well. .
tho I'll still pick my K Sweets if I have to choose

i always found the hhx stuff too loud/too much treble for small live clubs, always liked the crisp and responsive character, but the volume :( that s why i stuck too my offbrand dry cymbals i got in a sale in istanbul :)

I hit extremely heavy. And it took me years to crack a cymbal and it was a meinl HCS 16” crash (entry level cymbal) medium cymbal

Thin ones don’t break as easily as well. I think. But it’s all about technique as well

Its weird, but ever since you stopped touring/recording with Plini... I prettymuch stopped listening to him. His new drummer just isnt as powerful or dynamic as Troy...and the live sound shows it in my opinion. Which by itself is odd...considering Im not usually as driven by how drums affect a band's sound as I am a guitar player. I just wanted to say I appreciate having been able to see you on tour in the US 3 seperate times... and shake your hand a couple times as well. Thanks for all your positivity and all you contribute to the music Troy! Keep the content coming!!

It's honestly sad to see Troy never puts out videos of his playing anymore.
Instead all we get are these sellout promo videos once every few months. Such talent wasted.
I used to be inspired to get back into playing after watching his videos.
He could've made a decent living in aussie had he kept up with steady vids.
The income would've been up there with big youtubers because he had millions of views each vid.
Instead he made the wrong decision to join bands nobody's ever heard of then gets injured for nothing.
What happened to you, Troy? You could've made it big on TH-cam.
