Not to mention that the narrowing towards the toe area exacerbates bunion formation because it causes hallux valgus. I haven't tried any shoes with lasts that have a natural foot-like formation but I have a lot of faith in them, I have currently ordered a pair of Altra Provision 1.5's in hopes to cure my bunion formation woes (I had a pair of New Balance 857's as recommended by my podiatrist in 2E which did more harm than good causing more hallux valgus due to the pointed, un-natural last, it fitted for my 1st and 5th metatarsals but not for my toes)
Haven't tried Lems, but I'm currently wearing Sofstar Primal Runamocs, which have a very wide toe box and just a 2mm, zero-drop sole. The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I'm wearing them with Correct Toes.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR RESEARCH...I HAVE HAD PAIN AND CRAMPS IN MY FEET, LEGS AND BACK FOR 40 YEARS... DOCTORS SAYING I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WALK SOME DAY..I'M STILL WALKING, BUT THE PAIN IS STILL AWFUL!
The Lem's are very comfortable and don't look too goofy. I wear them to work with casual work clothes. I have ordered a pair of the Mary Jane style for a slightly more professional look. Hope they are as comfortable as the kind shown. They have helped my foot pain.
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
@Anders Ronan Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have a size 6 ladies foot and high arches. I recently purchased Correct Toes and Altra zero drop shoes. I walked 1/2 mile in them and then felt plantar fasciitis pain. Lately I've had a rock feeling/swollen nerve under the pad of my big toe. There is no video or advice that speaks to nerve pain under the pad of the big toe (slightly medial), only base of toe. I've filled out paperwork to have a consultation at NWT&A but the website says that they don't diagnose, so I will further inquire. My podiatrist originally said it's a neuroma and not to worry about it. I have seen 4 professionals who don't know what to tell me. I'm very active with skate skiing, snow biking and hiking. Wearing winter boots that are a size too large cause fore/aft rubbing that makes it worse. Thank you anyone for advice
I ha e Morton’s neuroma and have received at least 8 alcohol sclerosing shots. It just gets worse. I try wearing the correct toes but the space between my big toe and second toe is so large that the correct toes slide all over the place up and down. It’s so disappointing. Is there any solution to this problem?
I just recently got some correct toes which I truly love! I wear them with my socks over them in my house & I recently got some shoes from your website for correct shoes but how should it feel inside the shoe with my correct toes?!?!?!
So glad to hear that Charmaine! As long as the shoe is large enough it should feel pretty comfortable--not too much pressure or anything. Really if anything it should feel pretty identical to wearing a pair of shoes without Correct Toes. Thanks so much for checking out the product!
Thank you for the video sir. Are Lems shoes good for people with pes planus? Some "experts" say that it's risky to wear and walk/run in those shoes if you have pes planus.
I have been wearing correct toes with altra shoes for a couple of years now. Gradual improvement of my bunions. I spend a fair amount of time on a ladder and the arches of my feet can get pretty sore. Can you recommend anything to help with this? Thanks!
Bradley Bolt one legged negative calf raises(ball of foot on the stairs) at an angle( toes pointed inwards/outwards) with static hold at the top after a set. Due to transitioning to vibrams i've had every foot/ankle problem and these are miraculous. Arch pain/tendonitis/stiff calves
Would you suggest these shoes for plantar fasciitis? I have battled it off and on for years. I have very flat feet and pronate when I walk. In other words a horrible gait!
Suggestions for a real snow boot with these features??? Like for walking the dog in up to a foot of mushy, slushy cold and wet Ohio snow. Uggs will NOT do the trick- they're not waterproof and quickly get ruined by salt.
Lems do a nice boot called the Boulder Boot. Haven't tried it, but I'm tempted as it looks great and it's zero-drop with a wide toe box, like the running shoes. They do versions in both canvas and leather. Vivobarefoot also have a good walking boot, which I can vouch for as I own a pair.
Only one addition to this shoe if not done already. The sole must be made of a material the allows conductivity with the earth so the charges in the body are equalised with the planet.

Considering buying these for my next pair.

Thanks so much, you saved my ass!

Where can I buy this pair of shoes I live in Richmond Hill Ontario Canada

Wear Toe socks to take up the excess space. if the does not work, you can trim the lower edges of the pylons.

These are the only athletic shoes I own!
Ok I'm sold!
So are we! These are some great shoes!
i'ts possibile combine Lems + Correct Toes and Orthotic Plantar for heal a sesamoiditis whit bursitis?
Would this type of shoes be good for me that i suffer from Morton's neuroma? Thanks
Yes. Any type of shoe with a wide toe box that doesn’t cramp your toes would be good. This one included.
Thank you for sharing your expertise in these video's. Would these shoe's be beneficial for someone suffering from heel and foot pain?
Probally not. All that is from is form. Although, if you can't mid foot strike you will feel that many ways.
You should review vivobarefoot shoes…..excellent
We love Vivo and have review many of their shoes. Check them out here: www.correcttoes.com/foot-help/shoe-list/correct-toes-approved-shoes/

Look up Kelly starrett rebuilding your feet. All your questions will be answered
MsTagestraumer did you end up getting these shoes. If you did....how do like them...less pain now?

Which ones do and are aligned with what Dr. McClanahan prescribes?
