Hence how the place Latina Italy got the historical Latin name LATINA, because that is where the REAL cultura Latina and Latin ethnicity comes from. Hence why Italian descendants are the only people in the world with the surname Latino and Latini which were created to identify with the Latino heritage and lineage of Italy. I've watched so many videos about this work that only do it for a day. This is the most realistic, comprehensive video about food delivery gig work on TH-cam.
My roommate and friend is a single mom that was left with no choice but to DD full time. She’s been doing it for about a year now. I see firsthand the struggles she faces. The injuries, the vehicle wear and tear, the apartment issues, the DD rejection percentages, the crappy customers that order and don’t tip, flat tires all the time, roadwork and blocks, the amount of gas etc…. She still manages somehow because she has to. The struggles are similar to a regular job but also different, I guess it’s all about what issues you can handle and if you like the freedoms of being out in the world while working and not in 1 building all day.
I shared your video in hopes of your gaining more viewers. I too do gig work and have two special needs teenage sons. Your video where you spoke of wanting to be an advocate struck a chord with me. There is a crisis for young adults who age out …. Though Florida in many ways is worse. Change has to happen. My heart goes out to you and your kiddos.
This is a topic that needs more exposure. I volunteer at a homeless camp and some of the people in there are those who aged out of foster care and those who couldn’t mentally manage any bills or cooking. There are several families I know here who have severely autistic children and they are worried for their futures when the parents have died.
Such a great video! I’m so happy to hear that your TH-cam channel is paying as well as it is. That makes it well worth all the effort you’re putting in. I hope you’re able to keep the content going during this current setback.
I think once you get into the flow of this combined with TH-cam filming and editing, you can make quite decent money. Like make enough to pay your bills and then some. Just think, your first month you achieved almost what you needed by DD alone and TH-cam allowed you to exceed that. What if you had done nothing at all and waited for approval from unemployment, you would still be waiting and not guaranteed to get it. Hope your channel grows exponentially!!! Now I need to get on making and editing videos. I have so much to share with everyone! I’ve kept my videos private for years, I need to get over it and just share them. This channel is an inspiration to do that!
You are hysterical! As a fellow Uber Driver I could relate to your detours and the building scene had me cracking up! Thanks for bringing some humor to our hard work.
Bless your heart for making a living for your family. I just found your channel . My son lost his job in CO and he is Door Dashing after substitute teaching all day. He lost a very good job in Finance. Here is is with a Masters degree in finance and he is working day and night to pay bills. MY DIL is a teacher and grateful to have her job. It is tough out there. I feel for you with your kids and trying to make it work. Not all hero's wear capes and you are one of my heros. Godpseed...
Look for work in smaller companies with HR/ accounting needs. That’s how my sister managed. Another is any government entity, library, recreation sept, town hall etc.
Meaty Mama, you are my inspiration to consider gig work fulltime, I have come to realize that you and I have similar motives to do so. I have learned a lot from you. I've just started dashing less than 3 months ago, and I have already gone through all the things you have listed in your video except for parade. On the topic of "time", I think you did have more time, considering the freedom you had to go dashing at different hours everyday, doing stuff around the house in the morning or taking the entire day off, which is such a blessing. I do understand that you still felt exhausted because "life" got in the way, but I am so inspired by your journey and I want to thank you for sharing it with us out there. I want you to know that I'm praying for you and the children. May God bless your endeavors!
I have to share a funny story! My very first day dashing last April of 2023, I was dropping off a Steak N Shake order and lost my balance and fell flat on my face in front of the customer! So embarrassing, but they were kind about it, especially since I was carrying drinks and a shake, which I somehow managed to SAVE! They literally landed upright beside me on the ground! It helps that they were in a carrier! Talk about a miracle !! 😂
That's all I do is gig work it's all I can do. Trying to get the n more platforms. I am the only caregiver for my autistic niece with other disabilities so this is what I have and it pays my bills.
I started instacart as a 2nd job, then full time when we moved and I didn't have a job yet in the new town. It was totally hit or miss... and those days when orders were slow was sooooo frustrating. And those 3rd floor apartments with no elevator.... the worst!
Hi MM! I’m rewatching your videos on this rainy day in TN . I love that this video has over 300k views . Yay !! Pray that everyone rewatches them too and this helps bump your income this month when you can’t get out and dash . Miss you !
This is great news! Once your son is better and you get back to a routine, you can Dash 3 or 4 days a week and get content for your channel. You can show days where you're just running errands, outings with your kids, working on your budget, etc. You're a likable, funny, and interesting person so that's why you're getting more viewers. It was so funny when you "confessed" by showing your Christmas tree was still up.
Yeah, even if a bunch of other gig tubers are shouting her out, people only subscribe and stay and keep watching because they enjoy it. Otherwise, they might throw a few bucks onto the go fund me or send it super sticker or whatever those are called but to keep watching it it’s because you entertain us and touch us at times. We love you meaty mama. ❤
Thank you for sharing! This was such an awesome compilation for pros and cons, so creative as well! Very enjoyable as well as informative. I’m so excited for you in your transition, you’ll do amazing! Thanks for showing us all how to keep your head up even in the tough times! Continued prayers for your son!!
Thank you for breaking this down so well for us, you gave us the nitty gritty. I found this very enlightening. Good luck to you and your family and I bid you all peace!
Thanks for the complete openness and honesty of how much you made from TH-cam. I started my TH-cam channel for that reason exactly and it was nice to see that it is definitely worth the hours of editing I'm doing and hours of filming. I hope i can get to your level on youtube at some point. Thanks again. I watched all the adds on purpose to make sure you get the money from the ads.
I feel so bad when I forget and hit skip when you can. I do that on the bigger channels like news channels, or whatever. I try not to on smaller channels especially that I like a lot. But occasionally I forget. On the plus side, I always hit like on the videos as soon as I get to them, so I don’t forget at the end. 😊
I swear to God this is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. I remember every single one of these moments from your videos and you compiled all of the best ones!! You are my twin sister across the state here in Ft Lauderdale. I freaking love you.
You deserve this much and MORE!! You need to be paid for the inspiration you give everyone who watches you. Your channel is what lacks on youtube , sincerity, genuine, and realness! No frills with editing and no dramatic music just a "real life" documentation of what life is like for a person who works hard in this country.
Having a child special needs it's def work. My son was 3 when he was diagnosed with autism but man I love that little man and wouldn't trade him for the world.
I’m so glad on your decision to continue. Your videos are currently my absolute favorites. you’re so relatable and entertaining, you’re a natural. My prediction is your channel is going to grow super fast! I’m looking forward to more, I’m here for it! Today’s ending was perfection.
At the end of the day, you have to enjoy what you do and what’s will benefit your family. So excited for your channels growth. You crank them out and we will continue to watch. Love the content. Prayers for your son and daughter and a special one for you ❤

What an awesome experiment, and with such wild twists, turns, and bumps in the road. Really glad you are here and praying that things ease up so you can get back to grinding soon. It would be awesome if you did a monthly recap once you are back at it!
Watching you freak out at the 4 minute mark was great. Glad to know I am not alone. There are times it can be overwhelming when you have more than one app going or just in general when trying to figure things out. 🥰
😂I had to pause after 5 minutes from laughing. Honey, I feel your pain already! I’m a teen mom with a special needs child also. I do DoorDash mostly. It’s rough. But when you pulled into the wrong lane…😂pause. So relatable so far!
Your doing a great job at being a mom and taking care of your kids. Your videos are awesome and I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family.
Many people on assistance work. The majority of people on “welfare” as you describe genuinely need the assistance. So welfare or worker it makes no difference, if we’re fortunate we should help those who are less fortunate or have fallen on hard times. We all have been or may be in a bad position at least once in our lives. So your comment isn’t relevant or funny.
The tip culture is stupid. These employers should be paying the full cost of their employees instead of relying on random generosity of their customers.
I was sad at the beginning because you didn't make your money target. But forgot the you tube sales I am so happy it worked out. Plus you can create your hours work hours big benefit to you with the kids. Once the debts are pain & you have some emergency saved you can work less hours. Its going to all come together & hope door dash & uber eats start paying better. Great video for anyone interested in starting out. Hang in there Mama!!!
I just came across your channel and subscribed. I hated to see that you fell and hurt yourself but you had me cracking up and I needed that this morning. thank you and keep up the hussle and grind.
I remember few years ago, my grandma fell the same way, her foot hit the curbside except she fell flat on her stomach and hit her face. I was so sad, and angry that I wasn’t there to help her thankfully my brother and sister was there to help her and didn’t need to go the the ER but it’s part of life people trip and fall unexpectedly no matter how careful you are. I especially don’t like seeing the elderly fall. She is now with the Lord. By the way Thanks for these videos meaty mama and stay safe out there! #Giglife 🙌
Love the compilation video!! I do Instacart because my young adult son has a medical condition that keeps him from driving, so I drive him to his college classes and whatever he needs to do. Gig work is the only job that gives me the flexibility to be available for my family. I do a little DoorDash, but I prefer Instacart. I drive a minivan, so I have to be super picky about mileage. I try to pick orders going in whatever direction I’m already going. I take the kid to class 30 minutes away and try to grab an IC order heading towards home, might as well get paid to drive where I’m going anyway. Keep it up Mama! Thanks for sharing the updates on your son.
I’ve been taking people to medical appointments, the ones where they hey want you accompanied for family or a friend ( colonoscopies, wisdom teeth removed, etc). You’d be surprised how many people have no one to help. I bring books to read while I wait and afterward I get them home safe with their post-op instructions and meds. It’s something maybe you could do too. Pays well right away.
I always call or text for people to meet me at bottom of the stairs, or come outside; if dog is present, and they all do. 👍🏼 Apartments... CALL THEM TO MEET YOU OUTSIDE; PROBLEM SOLVED. TRUST ME, THEY WANT THEIR FOOD. THEY WILL MEET YOU.
Thank you for keepin' it real. I do my best to be nice to Uber drivers, give them the maximum amount of stars, and tip more than bare minimum. I haven't used Uber Eats or Door Dash lately, but in the future when I do need these services, I will treat the drivers with utmost respect.
😂This video was an absolute delight!!!! While also being so informative! It was an awesome way of breaking down the good, the bad, and the ugly of gig work while also acknowledging the undeniable great things about it!👍 So happy you see losing your full time job as a blessing in disguise!!! I 100% agree! HOWEVER, I think it was pretty shitty to "let you go" right then under the circumstances!😩 I look forward to each new video you share, and hope the TH-cam, gig work combination continues to only get better and more lucrative for you moving forward!🙏💖

This is really a great look at the insight of door dash and other food delivery services. This looks like a great way for someone to make money if there unemployed or retired and just want something to do and looking for extra cash. This is probably not a make a living type of full time job. Thank you for your videos.

Hence why Italian descendants are the only people in the world with the surname Latino and Latini which were created to identify with the Latino heritage and lineage of Italy. Sincerely- Un Vera Latina
Real Latino ethnicity= Italian and Latin Europeans of Mediterranean descent 😉
I'm so glad you made this video. I've been hoping between gig work and yt you could quit that job. I agree it will be a blessing in disguise.
You are brave walking by a dog of that size. Stranger with hot food. Wonderful it was a friendly pooch.🥰
I love your vibe so dang much.. I’d sit and listen to you talk about anything!
I know! Right, RIGHT?
Twoooooo dollas! 😂
I absolutely agree! Her energy is the best ❤
I think that qualifies as "beginner's luck." 😄
Awww hugs must be so tuff some days 😮
That's all I do is gig work it's all I can do. Trying to get the n more platforms. I am the only caregiver for my autistic niece with other disabilities so this is what I have and it pays my bills.
I once burned my hand in front of a customer who proceeded to laugh at me. And that's why I despise people.
❤❤❤😂❤❤❤
I hope you achieve your dreams and that everything works out well for you. Nothing is more important than time😊
I started instacart as a 2nd job, then full time when we moved and I didn't have a job yet in the new town. It was totally hit or miss... and those days when orders were slow was sooooo frustrating. And those 3rd floor apartments with no elevator.... the worst!
This reminded me of those 90s sitcom episodes where they would have someone narrate in the living room while they played flashbacks 😊
😂😂
WOW you killed it! Great job! Love this series and happy to see you pumping out the content!
Great video! I’m a gig worker and my son has special needs. I can relate to you! So glad I found you here on TH-cam.
In case you’re ADHD, She talks about the money at 11:38, but the entire video is really funny and insightful. A good watch for sure. 😊
Omg thank you! I was 3 minutes in n was struggling 😂
THANK YOU👏👏
Great idea!
Yes! That’d be great too. I think the key to success on TH-cam is being a genuinely likable creator, and that she is!
This was really interesting! I’m happy that the TH-cam channel is helping so much! You’re a natural entertainer. 😊
This was fascinating. I never knew how much dashers and TH-camrs make.
That was AWESOME!! Very candid too. Love love love your channel. ❤
I subbed and turned on notifications ❤
I def agree my son is 21 it’s extremely hard. Considering doing gig work
I’m so glad on your decision to continue.
Prayers for your son and daughter and a special one for you ❤
Excellent video! Very informative with engaging editing. Wishing you and your children all the best.♥️
You have a great sense of humor- I really enjoyed watching this! Working for others is so hard. I hope your you tube subscribers keep growing!
Just popped in for curiosity, you are very entertaining and funny. Thanks so much for making this fun.
Sounds wonderful!! Best wishes for easier days ahead and praying that God helps you and your children in all things good. Now we have to have faith that prayers of healing are answered for Aiden. God Bless. 🩷🇨🇦
This was the best video ever . Your funny and real and brilliant . You nailed every point I've been through with Uber Eats . 🎉🎉🎉
Oh yeah and I rent. I think it may be cheaper than owning at this point for all the wear and tear.
You’re doing amazing! Keep going!
You deserve as many views as you can gets
Your doing a great job at being a mom and taking care of your kids. Your videos are awesome and I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family.
loved your outtakes!! So funny. Best of luck in whatever you choose. Ty for the honest video!
She is working, not on welfare. Help her out...tip big...remember you didn't want to leave your house.
I read that as you didn't want her to leave your house.
A lot of ppl on welfare work too
Many people on assistance work.
Tipping for doing your job? The entitlement of these woke leftists is unreal. Definitely wouldn’t want her delivering my order.
Wow! Congratulations on stepping out of you're comfort zone. I have seen you grow on utube and be comfortable dashing. Keep up the great work!
I just came across your channel and subscribed. I hated to see that you fell and hurt yourself but you had me cracking up and I needed that this morning. thank you and keep up the hussle and grind.
Great video. They way you broke everything down was super helpful.
Thank you so much for this video! I was curious. My health sucks, so I considered it.
Girl yes, I hope your channel grows MORE and that you get more time with your kiddos!
I always call or text for people to meet me at bottom of the stairs, or come outside; if dog is present, and they all do. 👍🏼
Apartments...
I really found this video very informative, thank you. Still praying for you and your son. It was nice see you and potato together in the last video.
I’m sure you are going in the right path, I hope everything be more successful and great for you in the future ❤I love your work
This video has the absolute best, most realistic expectations, and solid advice I have seen yet. Thanks for the video. Hope your ribs healed up well and you find the time you're looking for. The extras at the end are funny, lol.
You have no idea how helpful this video was. Finally a fully transparent video with the pros and cons. I downloaded Doordash today after getting laid off and hope to pay my bills with it and other gigs until I can get stable income again. I wish you and your family the best on your journey! Just liked the video
May God Bless you and your kids. I hope your son gets better...
A great thought out video with great editing! I love your videos. Looking forward to the live and wishing you and your family the best! You got this!👍
This is really a great look at the insight of door dash and other food delivery services. This looks like a great way for someone to make money if there unemployed or retired and just want something to do and looking for extra cash. This is probably not a make a living type of full time job. Thank you for your videos.
In this economy it is their made gig for some
Found your channel on accident. Glad that i did!!! I know exactly where you're delivering. I don't live far from some of the places you were showing😂
I’ll give you so much credit for working so hard. I was thinking about maybe doing what you’re doing, but really seems like a lot of work, but it seems like you’re doing it. Good for you and I wish you tons of luck. You’ve got a great personality also❤
Hello Dear , I was listening to Chuck @ Dashing Across America and your son's medical problems . Wishing Y'all the best of luck in this trying time .
❤
Yay another video! I'm trying to get the courage to start my own TH-cam channel for dashing.
Me too lol
Just pick up your phone and film. You might find you have lots to share with the world, not just dashing.
Love this video!! The future is bright for you. ❤
You are speaking truth! I’m doing this full time just for a couple of weeks and your videos have been helping me! You made me laugh too. ❤😂
Yaayyy! So great to hear you may find some balance with money and family. 🙏
What a wonderful flashback video ☺️ I love how you broke down your earnings for February and with YT it really helped to maximize your earnings! I’m so happy for you that your channel is growing. I pray that it just keeps growing so you don’t have to go out and grind 5-6 days a week so you can spend more time with your family and doing other things ❤
You just made my day.. Thank you ❤️☺️☺️
Loved this video. The reality of trying to make the best of it with what you have! awesome!
This is good information for newbies. I think April will be my last month doing gig work! I am 69 1/2 and it’s getting hard… just paid my first mortgage off so hopefully I should be good financially since loosing my husband last April!
Congrats on paying off your mortgage. That is a big deal!
So sorry for your loss. You have done well with finding a path through grief.
Yelling oh my God in the car 😅 stop you have the gift of laughter that makes us enjoy watching your videos thank you ❤
I loved this video. We appreciate hearing the truth. Good luck MM ❤
I ❤ you video! You’re the most personable & real person I’ve seen talking about the good the bad & the ugly of doing this job. I just started today & the ONLY order I got was to an apartment complex & I wanted to cry trying to find the apartment building
I feel your pain, experiencing everything you mentioned, especially the dogs and falls!
First time viewer. Appreciated your organization and presentation of this gig enterprise. Will be looking forward to new content
Hopefully when you get accepted for Spark, you can make more for less miles and time. This was a very informative video and I'm so glad it turned out to be a blessing taking the leap! Keep going Mama! ♥ You got this!
I get so many trash orders for Spark; sure they are $30+ but going almost as many miles with like 11 stops?!? No thanks!
I only take shop orders under 9 miles and 20.00 plus for pay. @@ksd33
I’m glad this worked out for you. Seems like the universe is telling you to pivot 😊 A fresh start can be nice.
You have a great personality for having a TH-cam channel. I know I don’t know you, but I feel like we are friends… Wishing you lots of success in this new endeavor… delivery and video making… You go girl!!!
I feel the same way. This gal is going to make it!
OMG, you are adorable! And strong, and funny! Thank you for bringing light and laughter to my heart tonight. Much needed. 😊
🎉hanks for an informative video. BrenPGrace sent his subscribers to you when he heard your son was in the hospital. That is how I found you. 😊
I leave my car running and carry my fob so I can lock it. Also helps keep in warm when it’s cold outside.
What kind of car do you have? My fob doesn’t lock the car if the key is in the ignition
@@vanessal7145 Chevy traverse but I was lucky to get separate key/fobs because they usually come as a single unit.
I’m so glad that some good came out of a rough month. ❤ Hoping success keeps finding you! ❤ 💰
