Can i install a retail game update on fpkg then dump it on a hard drive then convert it from pkg top fpkg.
Asking so i can update all games to their latest update on 9.00 like marvel avengers can have 2 bew story mode and it's not available with latest update for 9.00 online.

Nice tutorial, I had to figure this out the hard way a couple days ago, I had games that stopped working before the jailbreak came out, i also had problems with games that kept updating automatically, most older games was fine, the updates broke a small number of them.

Me too because Patch Installer is glitchy now. Last time mine worked was February the 5th of this year. Thought there was an update for it so it works. Now games can't be put at certain patches so they run or codes work. Hope they get this fixed.

I remember on the PSP early days there were methods to run games higher than the firmware versions using a patch tool or flicking a fake version on CFW.

Can I create a fpkg update from a retail pkg, to work with a fpkg game? Because I can`t find fpkgs on the web, only retail updates that give error.
Havebt watched this yet but I've had to redownload and install multiple games because they auto updated in sleep mode even when its turned off completely so hopefully this'll solve that headache cause other than that, everything has been going smoothly and so fun with my new jailbroken ps4.

What about a tutorial on how to dumb dlc files from games? I can't find any tutorial here on youtube. I have lots of DLCs but don't know how to dumb all of them. Some of them I can find in the folder mnt/sandbox/pfsmnt
But some others don't show up. There are DLC files and there are DLC unlockers. Some of them seem to be stored in different areas. How do all the people get these files?
You use the Dumper payload after everything is installed and are on the main game menu screen

Thank you for the tutorial! Although I still think the old videos are still good for learning these tips. I'm new to the PS4 Jailbreak scene after the 9.00 exploit and watching the old tutorials are still useful. Maybe something new like a crypto mining tutorial for the PS4?

Idk why but if i always run the update installer app it says me „network error“ but my network works
random question but is it possible to have two versions downloaded at once. say you want to easily compare a launch version vs it's latest patch or there's some reason you'd prefer to play an older patch sometimes (like for speedruning or something like that). I'd assume that if possible it'd require two separate installs of the game and take up the space of two games.

Hello, everyone. I am keep getting error "Network error: Unable to download endpoint data". Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I did enable updates and change DNS servers configuration.
Please do a video about package sender for 9.00 a lot of people are having trouble with this method of installation, which seems the best to spare time and space on PS4 HDD.

I am on 5.05 myself. I might update my PS4 to 9.0 for this exploit but there is one thing I did not understand. Do I have to use a USB stick for this exploit or can I use a website like I currently do?
@@cemsengul16 You need the USB stick, though in theory if Linux works on that firmware you should be able to download the exploit from there.
@@SpeedsterBlur I guess I will stick to 5.05 and using backports then. I like my stability and I don't want to rely on a USB stick.
I know this is probably not possible at this time, but is it possible to DL the patch via this method and then convert it so it can work for a fpkg game or is that not possible because of technical reasons?

Instead of re-adding the DNS, can't you just UNcheck the option for the PS4 to automatically download game updates?

Great tut, but this doesnt work for fake packages. Where can i get just the updates for fake packages and just the dlcs only? Also I seem to be having issue transfering save data from 7.02 PS4 to 9.0 PS4.

I'm worried about a ban because I got 2 of my PS3s user banned and console banned years ago despite me not using or signing in PSN.
In this video you show days gone as an example but this game is one of few that has a patch availble for 9.0.0 A lot of games don't have a patch update for firmware (9.0.0) So I can download FPKG games but only play as an old patch. Like red dead redemption 2 only has an update patch for firmware 8.52.. Is there a way to still update games like rdr2 with patches running 9.0.0??

Bro one question I had a PS4 ID and when i updated and ran jailbreak so the Games on that ID are locked and not unlocking after Running the exploit but, the games installed from hard disk are running.

After jailbreak ps4 9.0. I was installing my game on PS4 via ftp and it's crashed. When I click notification console crash. It repeats always when I click in notifications. If it possible to delete notifications via bin loader or others things ?

You are a wizard sir for sure. I have a question open to anybody who knows the answer. I am on 6.72 and jailbroken. I want to change my internal HDD to a 1 TB SSD. I know how to install the correct firmware and rejailbreak so no issues there but I want to know how to transfer my previous game save files on my existing HDD to the new SSD. My application install location is an external HDD btw..

Dunno if this is the right place to ask but is there any way to fix the aspect ratio of a certain 'cyber-ish" game? the UI clips out of my Tv screen area and since my Tv doesn't have HDR support, I can't see the stamina bar and some aspects if HUD. thanks

What if my ps4 power shut down becouse of lets say power shortage, does the "disable updates" payload will protect it from geting updated automaticly after my power is back and i boot the console? please i need an anwser, thank you
