Jailbreak sounds nice. I have my PSP and Vita hacked. Loving the effort and love the fans put onto the consoles. But for PS4, I don't feel like I want to jailbreak it because I feel like it kind of in a way devalues the console, since it's expensive. *Reads that you can use trainers for games and DOA Xtreme 3 is listed* Well, dang, I guess I'll try jailbreaking when I can!
For me it will give it purpose again. Its been sitting on the attick since november 2020 when the ps5 replaced it for me. So now i will get it from the box tonight and jailbreak it to use it in my gameroom :)

Yes it's possible. Just enable updates again and Update to the latest firmware. Just that simple. But just make sure you Uninstall every jailbroken app you had downloaded.

Honestly, the performance for me has been negligible when I updated to a SSD. I recommend installing the jailbreak programs and running them from the internal hard drive and then keep some room open so it can "install" the games discs when you pop one in. I have a 5TB external and my dumped games run from there. I don't really notice any difference between the ssd and the external

I was on 8.x and updated to 9.00 in order to semi-jailbreak it. Afaik theres still no full jailbreak. If the console shuts off FULLY, you need to insert the usb drive again.
Does the disable updates payload stay active on a cold boot (no active goldhen)? Does it prompt that there is an update after cold booting with the payload?
I need to see the download blocked with this payload being there and goldhen not running to be sure there is no chance of actually getting an update. Just in case we need to cold reboot for one reason or another. Otherwise I'll continue using the DNS method.

Hello, i hope you see this. I tried to disable updates and it still asks me to enable binloader server, even after i already enabled it both, the binloader server and the FTP Server as well. @@hl1702 the jailbreak works great, I have my ps4 without the lan cable connected to the modem, since the pages needed in browser work offline. I do connect the PS4 to the Pc so I use remote package receiver directly to the Pc making a lan network between both. It's amazing, hope you found your answer dude, good luck!

I'm trying to install some fpkgs of larger games (i.e, 16+ gb), and I'm having some very frustrating issues. they will not install off of my external hard drive, so I waited for PS4 Xplorer to update for 9.00. Then I FTP'd the fpkg to the internal hard drive, but it won't install from there either. Any ideas? It's worth mentioning that I tried both of these methods for pkg files less than 16 gb, and those all worked perfectly fine. This is really frustrating as I can't seem to find any info on this online.
My hard drive does not work neither... I got it to install one game using PS4 Remote Sender (on PC) + Remote Package Installer... I send it by wifi... Taked a considered time, but, work it... You can see various videos here in youtube teaching how to send pkg games by wifi... Good luck... Now i'm gonna format windows, trying to fix this issue with big files on the hard drive...
@@mayconalmeida2110 I did forget to mention I did attempt this. All methods do initially start, but all fail to install at some point. remote installation by far took the longest, and it still ends up failing. I did just now force a game to install by repeatedly clicking "retry" and "pause/unpause" on the error screen, although this took a while as well. I'm definitely not trying that for games that are 50gb+, this one was only 20.
@@haanimirza4090 USB installing never gives errors. If Remote Package installer and Internal Package installer don't work. Then get a usb. They're way too cheap to complain. And they're fast and I have never ever heard anyone get any error installing even 70gb+ games with a USB. Also if you're using Remote Package installer just make sure that you do NOT close the apps until the game has finished downloading. This is a rookie mistake everyone is doing lately.

all it does is put a fake ps4 update file in the directory it looks for when seeing if it already has an update or not.

You can use the FTP Method and zero out the files yourself.

I'm trying to install some fpkgs of larger games (i.e, 16+ gb), and I'm having some very frustrating issues. they will not install off of my external hard drive, so I waited for PS4 Xplorer to update for 9.00. Then I FTP'd the fpkg to the internal hard drive, but it won't install from there either. Any ideas? It's worth mentioning that I tried both of these methods for pkg files less than 16 gb, and those all worked perfectly fine. This is really frustrating as I can't seem to find any info on this online.
My hard drive does not work neither... I got it to install one game using PS4 Remote Sender (on PC) + Remote Package Installer... I send it by wifi... Taked a considered time, but, work it... You can see various videos here in youtube teaching how to send pkg games by wifi... Good luck...
Now i'm gonna format windows, trying to fix this issue with big files on the hard drive...
@@mayconalmeida2110 I did forget to mention I did attempt this. All methods do initially start, but all fail to install at some point. remote installation by far took the longest, and it still ends up failing. I did just now force a game to install by repeatedly clicking "retry" and "pause/unpause" on the error screen, although this took a while as well. I'm definitely not trying that for games that are 50gb+, this one was only 20.
@@haanimirza4090 USB installing never gives errors. If Remote Package installer and Internal Package installer don't work. Then get a usb. They're way too cheap to complain. And they're fast and I have never ever heard anyone get any error installing even 70gb+ games with a USB.
Also if you're using Remote Package installer just make sure that you do NOT close the apps until the game has finished downloading. This is a rookie mistake everyone is doing lately.
