There are so many emojis and having so less would require even more scrolling. The old view is better but I feel like the ability to hide emoji which we’d never use would be so helpful. They could add a hidden section in the tray.

So happy this came out. My original beta 3 was so buggy. I was missing snap and messages notifications and couldn’t customize the Home Screen. Photos was also buggy.
I am so not happy with the people at Apple. I loved the large emojis in text now they went back to small for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I hope they bring it back.

The reason for doing the re-release was to include fixes for bugs that would block the release of the public beta, most notably, the Customize not appearing and tinting bugs.

@@nutz6700 It’s a spare phone. I don’t use it much these days as the battery drains faster on iOS 18 BETA. I just look at the changes whenever a new update comes out and then power it off 😅
Did anyone else have a problem with the beta when you’re playing music with the ringer on and a notification will turn your volume down low until another notification?
Issues I still have: • Control Centre keeps deleting 1 or 2 of the icons I’ve chosen. Then I have to try and remember what’s missing and re-add them. But it happens a lot. • I keep getting the little orange square that shows microphone is in use, when it isn’t. So Siri won’t respond to me, can’t use voice dictation. I find you either have to reset the phone again, or play some music and record a voice memo to get rid of it. The volume control in Control Centre becomes greyed out when this happens too. • When I reset the phone for any issue, that seems to be when Control Centre deletes an icon or two.
Been having an issue since Beta 2 with sending MMS (not RCS) to a group. Whenever i send photos to a group it will ALWAYS fail to send, then it will prompt me to send it again, it will then send. Not sure why this is happening but it still persists.
Starting to see a bug with beta 3.5 where iMessage will randomly stop working and default to SMS. The current workaround is to fully quit out of messages then reopen it
Anyone else been having issues with the camera? Raw Max photos take longer to load. When they’re in the photos app, they’re super pixelated. And then when it finally loads, there’s an issue with the focus, or something with their processing, cause nothing in the image is sharp. Everything’s just every so slightly out of focus, and nothing is tack sharp like it should be

‘Automatic’ icon doesn’t seem to be working properly. I was on light mode and when it changed to dark mode automatically, the icons remained on light mode
i’m so upset that they reverted the emoji menu changes :/ i really loved having the larger icons & i LOVED having stickers be mixed with the normal emojis
i have a really annoying bug with the control center where icons will disapear and it causes everything to shift around and go to random places that i did not set them to i have to fix this multiple times a day
I still have the bug where i have to tap the "view album" button in order for me to be able to see my recently deleted photos, still haven't fixed yet (iPhone 11)

I'm cool with the emojis being slightly larger in the menu, but yeah having 28 on-screen at a time instead of the previous 50 was definitely too much

Possibly a bug while RCS for iPhone is still in beta.

ive been having problems with my phone not wanting to charge and it only started doing this when i downloaded ios18.
Me too ive noticed enormous battery drains from 91 to 88 in less than 3 wks...now i have to charge it 2ce a day
