It would honestly be great if Apple added the journal app to iPads. It makes more sense because a lot of people use their iPads to digital plan and journal anyway. I really hope they also bring back the call bottom. I’m still hoping for it!

If you report that is being an issue for you in the Feedback app, sometimes they will live update your device to fix that issue and see how often it is something that you use and that is how they gauge whether or not to change it or leave it
I don’t know if it’s a bug but after updating to iOS 18 DB 5 from iOS 17.6 on base 15 , optimised battery charging stopped working. Just installed beta 7 , I hope the problem is solved.

iPhone 12 Pro here Control center would bug out from time to time and when I would reset the phone it would completely erase everything. I had a control center seems like with the new update. It was fixed although it added a camera option when I had the timer so I had to fix that.
All of my Control Center screens, except for the first one got deleted on my phone in the previous public beta. I am installing the new one now, but I have already fixed the problem manually.
Still no fix for the issues/bugs with the tinting feature? No extra dark icons for the ones missing? Are they going to let it hit final release with these unfinished features? They’re either embarrassingly unfinished or they’re extremely bugged. Not a good look for Apple.
the already fixed the tinting they did that last release and the icons thing isn’t really that important some are just too complex to have a dark mode icons
@@ahliaspobre no they didn’t, what are you talking about? The tinting is bugged beyond belief. It tints all widgets making a lot of them unusable. It tints the photos app ruining any photos you are displaying. It adds a gross layer to the entire icon instead of just making it black+tinted. It ends up a gross muddled mess. For people who want light icons, it still doesn’t work with anything other than dark. If you change your wallpaper, it reverts the icons to the default ones. It’s objectively still bugged and negatively affecting many aspects of iOS that it’s not meant to interact with. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
Think it doesn’t make sense for Apple to further work on the tinting at this point because most 3rd party apps will get their own dark icons shortly after ios18 releases.

This update cost me a screen... I was on a video call earlier then my screen went white... now green I can't see anything.. looking into this i was told it was the update
One fix for me that I noticed was that prior to this update, if you were watching a video on TH-cam in landscape and then swiped down top right into control centre, the brightness and volume sliders were in the middle down the bottom, this update moves them back to the top right of the control centre in landscape mode

Some of sensitive users like me are unable to use OLED iPhones as it gives severe headaches and migraine , i have no issues using iphone 11 which is LCD. VoiceOver used to have a very annoying bug that used to say or utter the word unpronounceable before, and after each word, sometimes the main words were kept and only this word was being uttered. Now this bug has been fixed.
Recent calls UI is very right here, when you are in that section you have to call someone from your recent history not to open the details and that is a good thing
The whole thing with RCS and carrier support will be available for everyone very quickly after the new iPhones launch. All carriers are gonna want to sell those iPhones with all new features up and running of course
Whenever the RC Release of iOS 18.0 gets released and I update to it, when the final release comes out the week after the RC, will I see it populate or not? I'm guessing not because I think that they will both be the same build number.
I’ve put it in the feedback app 1 month ago, and it’s soo annoying when choosing wallpaper on the Home Screen now. The widget page and App Library is very hard to focus on, when there is no blur from the background. Had to use the blur effect myself on wallpapers, but it takes away a lot when have to blur everything out myself. They have to bring it back. I’m surprised why no others mention it has been gone since updating to iOS 18. Almost thought it was a persistent bug on my own device. Apple HAS to give us the blur effect back when swiping to widget page and App Library!! This has to be fixed now, because I hate that part so much, because of the now limited wallpaper choosing to avoid missing blur effect. Overall I love iOS 18, but this is NOT great!

1. I hope Apple would bring back the new “Recents” interface with call icons as currently it’s very inconsistent with search screen with icons and recents screen without icons 😞 2. When having 2 pages in the Control Centre, it is opening to 2nd page sometimes, which I think is due to the gesture sensitivity.

Yes! Apple Music itself has been buggy all of IOS 18 it’s very slow and unusable
