Inspirational is the right word for this. It’s Farnsey’s signature song, and is very much an anthem for a lot of people here in Aus. Glad you enjoyed it.
It's what I would like to tell the young generation. We raised our voice before. We haven't reached our goals yet. But we won't be silent, we won't be silenced.
One of the most iconic songs of the 80's a massive anthem for peace, unfortunately John has been battling mouth cancer in the past years, hopefully he will recover to sing this again
"Another day, another mic toss miss.....". it's John's own fault for being so awesome that reactors are so blown away by him that they miss some things happening behind the voice :)
Everybody immersed in the music rather than using their cell phones to record videos they'll never watch. Live concerts the way they're supposed to be...
John has a lot of songs that have a message, That’s Freedom, The War is Over, See The Banners Fall, so many more and yes John always leaves you with a feeling of joy whatever he sings. There’s a interview with Richard Marx Where he describes John as the greatest singer today. That’s was Johns 25th Anniversary Richard and John have been friends for many years,Richard just recently paid Tribute to John just recently when doing a gig on the Gold Coast in Aussie
This was about the time that the Berlin wall came down and people were feeling empowered as Germany citizens united after many years. This song is powerful as it is about you speaking up for what you believe in as you have the right to voice your opinions. The voices of many can cause changes.
If you watch again, you will see his microphone stand toss and catch, all without missing a beat or a note. The tell is him screwing the stand, he will toss it just after.
Thanks for your great reaction, it's so good to see John having an impact on new listeners, especially younger ones. This whole concert is available on TH-cam and I'd recommend you check it out, then you'l know what a truly amazing talent he is. Oh, yeah, I'm an Aussie so may be a little biased. lol
This song is Australia's secret weapon and is why we "punch above our weight" on the world stage compared to our population size in things like sport, inventions, presence in charity organisations, arts and performance (experimenting with playing it to babies in the womb is how we built the Hemsworth brothers, for instance). Glad you enjoyed listening
I would like to recommend you react to John Farnham with Richard Marx "The Reason Why", from the 1994 ARIA (AustralianRecording Industry Association) Awards. John has the voice that lends itself to most music styles; from exceptional ballads to great rock songs.
You need to do help with the same orchestra if you haven't seen it just as good John sings every genre equally as well Cheers he'd be happy it inspired you 🦘🇦🇺👍
Can I request for you to react to a girl group from The Philippines called 4th Impact . They are 4 sisters with amazing harmonies that will leave you speechless. In 2015 they auditioned for X Factor UK and that video has almost 189 million views on you tube. In Feb 2023 they performed before 55, 000 people in manila. They have many cover songs and a few original songs on you tube. They WILL amaze you .
It reminds me of a Yanni, not sure if I spelled that right, or a John Tesh performance! It's not bad! It feels like this whole performance should have been played for the visitors in Close Encounters Of The Third Kind! Adios!
John FARNHAM is a FN Legend! I grew up with this AMAZING voice since the 70’s! Daisy, the cleaning lady! Lol! Not sure if U R AMERICAN, not surprising that his no one you’ve EVER heard of but rest assured, this song has been celebrated ON THE CONTINENT (Europe) in ALL their languages PLUS ,Celine Dion in CANADA 🇨🇦 NEVER IN THE US…. Y? NRA…. That’s Y? U R reviewing a song that’s 40 years old lovely, ask yourself Y?

Love this song!
You should also listen to his song "Help" from the same concert. It is an adaption of the Beatles song and amazing differend.
He used to be a singer with The Little River Band. A great group out of Australia
Wow he is the voice
And he’s the nicest bloke you ever met
When you leave a John Farnham concert you can’t talk for 3 days. I know. I’ve experienced it 5 times
hi angela
Im in Adelaide

You need to do help with the same orchestra if you haven't seen it just as good
John sings every genre equally as well
Cheers he'd be happy it inspired you 🦘🇦🇺👍
This song is what it means to be Australian
John joined Little river band. the song "We two" is a good one.
Its an Anthem song!
The song was inspired by a nuclear disarmament protest march.
i wonder if i should start checking my phone out when watching your reaction?
One of the greatest pop vocalists of all time, maybe even in the top 10.
Definitely top ten.

He's got a Meat Loaf vibe and delivery. And keep in mind bringing smiles to people 3x a week IS doing more. You lift people's spirits.
Meatloaf! Whaaaat?
Ummm nooo
As someone else observed, comparing John Farnham to meatloaf is like comparing Michael Jordan to a pumpkin.
The writers created it after sleeping in and missing a nuclear disarmament protest in London.
Shame you missed him throw the mic stand in the air and catch it on the way down
These pics are ridiculous.
Which pics?
@@rickandersen2284 I think he meant picKs.
@@gabrielmcdonnell8699 How sad for him lol

That's Sadie the cleaning lady.
