Did you know that if you leave your ladder at home then you won’t get islands where the villagers are on cliffs? When you’re villager hunting that can be convenient!!
On the topic of how big the US is in comparison to the UK, I've seen so many people from the UK or even just Europe in general who will plan a trip to the US not realizing the size difference. They will say things like how they will go to New York and then drive to Disney Land and head over to Las Vegas after, etc etc. They are talking multiple hours by plane, let alone how long it'd take to make those drives. I have a friend in California who takes a train to get back here to Florida (ever since covid, she used to fly instead) and it takes her like 4 days. When we go visit my boyfriend's family in Louisiana (12-14 hrs depending on our stops) we spend over half the drive in Florida since we first go north towards the border with Georgia and then turn west and drive towards Alabama through the panhandle. There's pretty much nothing but trees for that portion of the drive 😅
That whole paragraph just blows my mind! I also have no concept of distance between states and I think it’s because most European countries are small in comparison and we consider all these tourist attractions as just simply being in the one country and not take in to consideration the equivalence in Europe is like driving across five or six countries in Europe 😅 12/14hrs drive would get me to Germany! Also because of how far away and expensive the US is, I imagine a lot of people want the whole experience in one trip. Completely underestimating that it’s almost the same as a whole European tour 🙈

My grandsons birthday is Christmas Day and my granddaughters birthday is New Year’s Day. Very expensive week !
