Picked this up on a whim being enchanted with the volume dial... I dont understand why no other keyboard offers it. It's such a pleasant feature.. That alone is worth getting this keyboard for. I agree with all your points.. loving mine. Got it on sale for $69 :) The switch to other devices works so good its crazy. They really thought about making this keyboard with common sense rather than following the age old standards.
@@AdventureswithCCIs it okay if I ask how you are getting on with the product after 9 months? I'm thinking of getting one, and im curious how well it stays after months of use.
I love it! I really have no complaints either. Everything just works and it works well. I actually just switched from using Bluetooth to using the USB dongle and the connection is not only faster but it’s better too. From the time of my review I believe I’ve only charged it once…maybe twice, so battery life has been great. I still using it everyday for work. Honestly, I can’t recommend it enough
@AdventureswithCC Dongle connection is great and stable. But bluetooth is not, freezes and random drops. Sometimes it gets stuck. I switch between two PC. One on dongle, other on BT but BT is so glitchy, it's hard to use as a regular keyboard on bluetooth.
I've had mine for about a month and it is the best keyboard I've ever used. I thought someone would have to pry my Logitech K750 solar from my cold, dead hands, but after a few days of using the JLAB keyboard, I stopped missing the Logitech. Best keyboard ever. Got it for 60 bucks at Best Buy. Can't beat that.
Excellent review! Thanks for sharing! This sounds like a good alternative to Logitech. They have surprisingly discontinued several of their best top business models, like the K740. Good to see JLabs providing strong competition!
Great review. I am seriously considering this keyboard as it is on sale. Have you seen the keychron b6 pro keyboard. It is keychron's first slim keyboard. Not many reviews and I cant test one. The Jlab epic is a strong contender for me. Thanks
Hey thank you! Unfortunately, I have not seen the Keychron keyboard so I can’t speak for it. But, I’m still using the Jlab for work and I’m still very happy with it. I still can’t use the app but other than that everything has been great! If you go with it, I’m sure you’ll love it!
Got mine last week : Nice ! But confused about where the old Windows key is....and I find it annoying that the illuminated keys go off so quickly. Can I keep them on longer ??
It should be the Start/Option key on the bottom left. You might be able to adjust the backlight within the software. I'm not 100% though, like I said in the video, I haven't been able to play around with the software myself. Please let me know if you are able to
Sorry for the late reply, I was away and I just got back. To answering your question, I tested it out by disconnecting the Bluetooth from my Mac and then plugging it in to the Mac itself. Unfortunately, it did not work. Plugging it in seems to only charge the keyboard rather than allow it to work in a wired mode
That is completely up to you. For me, I use Bluetooth because my work laptop doesn’t have any free USB ports for the dongle, and I find it quicker to switch between my work and home computer. If you’re just using one device, the dongle works just as well. It’s just personal preference, really!
For me, the dongle was preferred since I share two laptops via a docking station. I hate the Bluetooth dance when I switch machines so I disable bluetooth completely.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it as much as I am! It’s always nice to see other people’s experiences with these products!

I’m still using mine to this day and I also love it. Definitely worth it!

I’m still using this everyday for work and honestly I have no complaints! It’s definitely a steal if you can find it on sale

I’ve looking for a good substitute to my outdated keyboard, thank you this has helped a lot.
Glad I could help!

Can you please tell me if the keyboard can be used in wired mode? I can't find it online.

Is it better to use the usb dongle or the Bluetooth connection?

A little too clicky sounding for me.
That’s too bad, if you can get used to it, it’s a good keyboard!
I agree. I thought it would be a tad quieter.
