So that’s leaving you 345 pounds for a driver and cargo. This truck can tow 18,500. And also the towing sticker has never been VIN specific! It can’t be. It gives you a max GCWR and it gives you a max tow rating. Based off your trucks specific weight with how you would load it plus any family or friends you take with you on a trip will determine how much you can actually tow lol. It’s been this way forever. The towing sticker just list the specific truck configurations capacities right there on the truck so you don’t have to search through the owners manual and/or an online towing guide. It’s up to you and me (the end users) to make sure we are not exceeding those capacities.

You probably can't afford it 😲🤣
@@atg1338 Seriously? "You"? that is a sorry ass no value comment.
@@kelviskelvis7140 Great reasoning. So if you're a buyer who actually wants to take it offroad you should have to pay a 20k markup.
@@Pantelifts10 Or wealthy people will buy them and never take them off road.
Wish y’all could figure out a way to put in a couple more commercials
some day GM needs to do a panoramic roof like everyone else.
Couldn't care less. I ordered my ZR2 without a sunroof cause they're useless as tits on a boar pig!
Definitely needs a panoramic roof in 2024 and beyond.
You can get a standard LTZ or a ATX truck and to upgrades to make it a safe and reliable off road on road truck for a lot cheaper then $100,000.00 plus truck.
Did you do a super duty tremor in the Ike?
Damn this truck is awesome, looks beautiful too
always nice to see another Ike gauntlet test... I am wondering when you are hopping to be able to test the tesla "cyber truck" and to get compairasons on usefulness vs a normal truck and I want to see it on the Ike fully loaded and i would love to see normal duty loaded to compare but that's just me
You should try Cabbage Hill just outside Pendleton OR.
Why don’t they make a real break that runs in the cylinders and not in the exhaust something that you know when you’re going down the hill and it’s locked in it’ll maintain the speed that you said it at you. Don’t have to worry about it. The downshifting to try to control the speed. It will just stay where it is.
The hitch is nice, but I love my BulletProof Hitch
I would load it backwards so more weight is on the tongue, the reason there is only 1 inch of squat is probably cause there’s barely any tongue weight
H to the N on that price. 👎Glad I got mine 2 years ago for $30k less.
Still a rip off at $70k two years ago. But a steal compared to this madness
@DonZenOfficial you're probably right, but I have no regrets thus far. Just hoping it doesn't give me a bunch of diesel problems. We'll see
Need to make that 10 speed skip shift like the ford when not towing.
Finally found out who he sounds like…..Tommy Lee Jones
I love these Ike challenges
$105k truck. That's crazy. cool though.
Who what of knew in 2024! having buttons is so kool and premium 😂
Jesus is coming sooner then we think by looking at world events. here is the salvation prayer for those who are not saved, pray this with your kids so u know that they are saved and everyone you know. Jesus is coming quickly
Dear Jesus
Come into my heart, forgive me of my sins, wash me, cleanse me, set me free Jesus, right now I receive you as my lord and savior.
I believe you are the son of God and you were raised from the dead, thank you for saving me and forgiving me, I am born again. I am forgiven and I am on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.
Amen
Best 2500 on market
Lol. Weak front suspension.
@@98durangopackcan put a plow on the gmc at4x can’t do that on a ford tremor.
how to start a comment war with truck brand simps lol
2700 lbs of payload for an HD? Not nearly enough for an HD vehicle.
@@98durangopack lmao in the fords and rams are worse
do the shocks make towing and ride more comfortable?
Yes
I thought the downhill you dont usually run cruise control 🤔
Yeah I just got to that part. Maybe it’s because the exhaust brake is incorporated into cruise control?
@@ALMX5DPcorrect, these new trucks are actually designed to work that way. I know it seems kind of strange but thats new tech.
He doesn't. I thought that was kind of cheating for this test. Either use cruise control for all of the trucks or don't use it.
Can you disable adaptive cruise control?
Can you pull a fifth wheel trailer with one of these? It would be nice to have an of road truck that would pull a fifth wheel as well.
Good video guys
Did some research myself, how is a RAM Power Wagon a better proven performer than this despite the huge power difference?
The gasser 2500hd in the the zr2 starts at 72k
Brake controller location due to the fact that the denali dash is slightly different than high country
Dumb decision. It should be on the center stack out of the way.
For what you’re getting with that truck and comparing it with the highest trim level from ford and Ram I think it’s a reasonable price all the way period.
Looking forward to this !
Thank the Lord the 6.6 Gasser doesn’t have AFM.
Best looking truck on the market… GM has stepped it up in the last few years.
I personally don’t need any of all the fancy , luxury items on my truck , like heated vibrating seats !
Never have been one to care about any of that “ type “ of stuff - Useless to me …. Certain
Options I got on my truck are more important - The things that make it go good !
Que belleza de Camioneta 😍
I have a 2021 silverado 3500hd ltz it tows so good it's lifted 3 inches & has 37x1350R20 tires & I tow all the time fith wheel & receiver hitch. ❤
You’ve never towed a fifth wheel in your life who are you kidding LOL. Clown
Impressive
I have a 2024 3500 Duramax LT i paid $73k. It has the same engine, frame, transmission, brakes, Z71, interior, HD cameras. The GMC cost $104 and mine cost $73k. That is a $31k difference in price. The only big difference is the GMC suspension lift and tires. What kind of suspension lift do you think I can get for 31k?
Chevy junk
@@DonZenOfficialaside from the AEV stuff, lift and tires it’s essentially the same exact truck ol DonZen
Isn’t any more capable than the at4. Nothing was doing the the 4wheel system except shocks
