I am very happy that this young man is okay. However as someone who was injured by the Pfizer vaccine it would be nice to have some honesty. It's actually more rare to have what they're saying happened rather than myocarditis from the shot. I feel in my heart I know what happened but I know he's not allowed to talk about it. WTF ABC?? That's not how the interview went. You're editors were obviously told to remove the original question before Damar's long pause and answer where he then says "I don't want to get into that.." The original question Michael Strahan asked was = "You're 24 years old, peak physical condition, you could run circles around me, HOW DID THE DR. DESCRIBE WHAT HAPPENES TO YOU?" Damar's long pause and answer "I don't want to get into that..." was the answer to that. You can see the actual interview in about 100 places on line ironically everywhere but on ABC..
I totally get why he doesn't want to dwell on that moment. It's a reminder of how fragile life is and to comment on it is to acknowledge the oblivion that faces us all

Paul hunted and killed Christians. Then this young man is not above God calling him to serve. Allow Damar to grow in his word. God has him on a mission. He must grow and build a relationship with the Lord. Also maybe he was running from the Lord and God said on this day you will honor me. The Lord has a way of getting our attention. Learning CPR and becoming certified has saved my life. Literally. And because of that, I truly believe everyone should learn CPR and become certified starting in high school.
Personally I feel let's leave well enough alone. He obviously is a great young man with a bigger purpose. I would feel much better if he coached or announced games. Many years ago we were trained to do a precordial thump before starting CPR. To start a rhythm. They don't teach that anymore, but it is interesting that that happened to him. It makes sense that a blow like that could also stop a heart. I don't remember why they stopped it, but maybe that's why.
How many more before the mainstream put 2 and 2 together. It's alarming how many young people I know who went through this in our community. All healthy.. sad people are in denial.

This was a very bizarre incident. There is always so much emphasis on head trauma when it comes to football but to get hit so hard in the chest that it stops your heart is an entirely different animal. It’s obvious that it’s difficult for him to put that into words.

Hamlin said that he would not comment on what may have caused his heart to stop.

That's not class....that's being a coward.

I think it's safe to assume what really happened to him. He may have his reasons for keeping the truth from coming out and we all have to respect that. I fear that his chances of coming back to play is pretty much slim to not at all. It's so sad to see this tragedy happen to someone who seems to be a really nice, God fearing man, who just really loves to play football. May God bless him and heal him, and find a new purpose for him. And may God's justice comes to those like him who were innocently victimized by this.

What an articulate young man, a walking miracle. God showed that day that He is always present, always ever empowering. God blessed this young man, shifted his lift for another purpose and showed us what He can do, we just have to trust. God bless Damar and his recovery and may He bless us all! 🙏

I would have said this about anybody, race, religion, no matter, that spoke as articulate as this young man. After what he went through and his gratefulness to be alive is what I found to be a breath of fresh air.

if you watch this on another channel, I think that this was edited and that the actual question was "what did the doctors say what happened to you?" and ABC changed it...I'm not saying his answer was wrong, but it does seem a little strange to answer the question "What do you remember after the hit" as "thats something I want to stay away from"...I mean, maybe he saw death or something, I really don't know, but...thats super interesting
The time frame for this to happen is like a quarter of a second if not less, I don’t remember the exact number

If its not obvious to everyone at this point that something odd is going on then I dont know what else will do it. He's clearly nervous and won't answer some simple questions, one of which he must know is on everyones minds. He's been told to not connect the heart attack to the you know what. He's either been bought off or he's too afraid to tell the truth. Then he wears that horrendously blasphemous jacket at the superbowl. Its a shame, this incident couldve been a real unifier but once again theres been dealings behind closed doors and we will never really know the truth.

Everyone gets ultimatums when it hits the news, but pretty soon they won’t be able to keep it hidden. The Bible says there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light. Man does not need to say, God will win this battle, vengeance is His, He’s in control!

healthy 24 year old in peak condition. exactly. The reason he doesn't wanna get into details is cause he can't. we already know what happened and the procedure he got on December 26th. sad NFL and big parma could help save more people from this happening again.

@@blake7871: It was a Twitter account that claimed he gave Hamlin a booster shot on the 26th. Then the Tweet was removed, the account was temporary shut down, and the validity of whether or not Hamlin got his booster shot has been in question ever since.
@@clipcoug1139 Gotcha. I'd heard that rumor, but I don't use Twitter, so I didn't know that's the origin of the jab booster claim.
@@blake7871 Any doctor who would post such a thing would intentionally violate their oath to abide by HIPAA.
With 95% of nfl players vaccinated, I find it highly doubtful that Hamlin didn't get at least one vaccine shot, but nobody can say for sure he was even vaccinated. One of his teammates (Beasley) isn't (Beasley said it himself and has spoken out against vaccines) and supposedly Josh Allen isn't either
