Correction. You're enhancing your C6 with C7 headlights. Not making it look like a C7. While C7's are sweet, I prefer the C6 body style. :)

The taillights on the vette is just growing on me more and more
Aside from loving the C6 generation when I was in college, I'd essentially forgotten about them and hadn't really considered ownership. I sold my S550 Mustang and this video is singlehandedly what brought me back around to considering the C6. I now have a low-mileage 2012 Grand Sport with the Morimoto C7 headlights, taillights, and LED side markers. Absolutely love it.
Set the turn signals to sequential mode. I had the same set for a year now and sequential looks sick. I get tons of compliments and looks! Your gonna love them👍🏼🔥

Sweet! I have the exact same Morimotto C7 lights and the Black onyx taillights on my Black C6 vette. The look is totally breathtaking! I get more “👍” reactions! Especially at car shows. It’s a great C6 Mod! ✌🏿

I have Corvette C6 base 2009. And believe me people can't believe that car is that old. They think it's new. Some people don't know much about Corvette because nit is rare on the road in many states..
Hell it’s even faster than a lot of modern cars and with very minimal mods, it IS faster. Such an amazing car. There’s absolutely 0 things bad about the car except the dated interior. That’s the literal only things I think anyone could knock on a c6😂

A $250 million bare-bones, lights-on budget to do the C7 meant it was never going to be great. In a perfect, non-bankruptcy world, the C6 would have been followed by the mid-engine car.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I just bought a c6 grand sport thus past weekend. Hard to find videos to watch with my younger son that doesn’t have a lot of swearing in them so again thanks for the great video.
Now i see why I was getting morimoto c6 corvette headlights video recommendations. I also got morimoto taillights videos recommendations. I thought for sure you would do the sequential signals out front. Your car is looking cleaner and cleaner man! Good job! 👍
You can make the blinkers sequential like the farrari 458 on those just fyi.

You should've gotten the Morimoto LED fog lights also, I installed both on my 2013 Grand Sport.
Dont get me wrong i like the c7 headlights too, but i prefer the regular hid headlights on them. goes with the car. I feel like the c7 headlights dont go with the body shape of the c6 generation.

Freshens the car up a tremendous amount, by like 10 years. Looks as good as the C7 front end easily. Just wish they weren't so insanely expensive!
They're not expensive, one OEM headlight will cost almost as much as a set Morimoto's. You get what you pay for and you gotta pay to play, you wouldn't want to put a set of cheap $500 headlights on nice looking Corvette would you?

Added these to my C6 and love them. Sold the old pair on EBay which drastically lowered the acquisition price. Like others in the comments, you don’t have to take the front clip off or the wheels. Looks like you have a MGW shifter kit. Getting ready to install mine very soon.

For me it doesn't fit the style of the car, it's not following the line flow of the C6. But seeing how you modified your Mustang, I bet you're gonna make it work by changing everything with a widebody kit that's more in line with the headlights that changes the overall flow of the C6. Can't wait to see where this goes!
I wish these were easier to install. I dig them! My lights are only 24k miles old and not faded at all. Will hire a pro to put these inwhemever mine start to fade
@alexralston22 if you pull your stock lights out, before they start to fade, they're worth more money selling them to someone. Just a thought

What year is your vette. I really love the car.
C6 z06 or c7 base what would you recommend? My budget is 50. I want to include at least brake suspension and exhaust for that price and maybe a can and boltons ( for the z06 not the c7) the c7 would most likely only get upgraded brake/rotors

I have a set, the light is crisp and bright as hell, the OEM lights are no comparison.

You're sending out false information. I install these lights on my C6 two years ago and all I had to do is loosen the front bumper and front fenders enough to pull the light housing out. Took about 2 hours to complete by my self
