    Can we have the the print settings for all the material please ?

  • @antok86
    @antok86 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Make the profiles available to help give users a baseline . This printer only provides a “normal” setting in the default cura profile. Unlike Bambu there’s a “generic” material configuration to help you tweak from a starting point.

    I noticed a slight warping there on ABS, that's why the camera shot cleverly hides the bottom of that bunny (ABS without an enclosure not going to end well). The print bed on my SR can barely hold PETG without glue stick so I hope this comes with some amazing flexible bed and not the same type of bed on the SR. And with a couple of generation changing machines coming out soon, this has got to be priced right or it's doa.

      Just out of curiosity, what are the other machines that you're talking about? I have five Ender 3's and a Sidewinder x1 currently. I want to buy a faster (probably delta) printer soon, but I haven't been doing as much research as I used to.

      @@Brunoku Had my eye one the Ankermake, Bambu Lab X1 and the Flsun V400. Two of them are Kickstarters I know but I feel that's the only way things are moving home 3d printing forward for the masses instead of trickles of upgrades and countless models. Klipper/Input shaping/ frequency tuning implemented and true automatic bed leveling are going to become more common in the next 12 months. I'm waiting for longer term use reports before I decide on which to get.

      @@jasonwu2758 yeah i'm with you on that one, personally i got eyes on the ender 3 s1 plus, anycubic also came with some juicy printers but i especially wanna see if an ender 5 s1 plus would come, since it's a core-xy design it can print faster, and it would have a bigger build volume, but i just really dislike bowden from previous experiences so it if comes with duel gear direct drive i'm likely going for that one.
      "Klipper/Input shaping/ frequency tuning implemented and true automatic bed leveling"
      yes pls, klipper out of the box would be bliss, true auto bed leveling too sounds like a dream, there's also a printer that scans the first layers which IMO just sounds like peak reliability, but price tag for that one put me off to the point i forgot it's name lol.

    PC and ABS printed without enclosure? It would be good if you will provide an option for enclosure. Maybe just 3 acrylic with mountings. Most of hi-temp materials needs printing in higher environment temperature.

    • @bizget
      @bizget 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Looking at the extrusion profiles on the vertical supports, you can probably just slot in some thin/flexy acrylic panels to form a round enclosure wall. Making a door could be more difficult, and the tops and bottoms would need some ventilation considerations to avoid overheating the control board and steppers in the top or the PSU in the bottom.
      I'm definitely looking into this when mine arrives.

    Why ABS not show the corner? We need to see ABS corner lift or not.

  • @MikevomMars

    Showing the temperatures is pretty much useless. What's REALLY interesting is the printing speed used for each material.

    Buyers, beware, do not buy into the hype and free printers that are given to reviewers. I can tell you you will be lucky to get your order the way most customers have to order in one to two months with tons of excuses. Not the type of company I would want to do business with, and if you did I could imagine the type of support you would get and time delays.

    crazy, at 80 - 90 ° C. the PetG filament becomes soft and unstable, the bed temperature should be about 70 - 75 ° C

    is the FLSUN V400 easy to build for a beginner? I'm new to 3D printing.? also I'm in between on getting
    either this printer and or the Prusa Mini + ( note then get this printer as my second printer, or vice versa )
    but I feel like I'm leaning towards your printer a bit more, then a Prusa now, because of the filament choices :)
    and one more quick question is the FLSUN V400 compatible with Mosaic Palette 3 pro?

      @No0o0o0o0o0 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Don't waste your money on a prusa get a bambu lab X1 or x1C you dont need to build it like a prusa and has a ton more features, faster, auto bed levels, lidar scanning easier to use etc.

      Building is super easy and we'll documented. Takes 20 minutes.
      I love my v400, but I do wish some profiles for materials other than PLA. My PLA prints like molded parts almost, but PETG is just not setup out of the box in Cura yet... lots of tinkering gives me decent results, but I know it can do much better.
      If you are new to 3d printing, get a cheap Anycubic. They are solid and reliable IMHO.
