  • Lithuanian MRE's menu's 3, 5, 5, 6, 8, 9 & 10, which just leaves menu No.1 that I've never been able to get hold of. All these menu's contain a pack of the "famous" SU-1 hard-tack Rusks & a small twin-pack of dark chocolate.
The can-openers are 1980's British Army issues.

Very cool military rations packages. Another side of your collecting interests. Nice! Are they edible? You're preserving for collecting, right? Not consuming them...right? lol Like them.

My stepfather's Dad, had some stuff from he was in the army. Like biscuits in a can..they were old....my stepfather opened them up and ate them. His father wasn't too happy,. He had a bunch of foods in army packets,,,,and other stuff from when my stepfather's Dad was in the army. (I think his father was knighted by either Queen Elizabeth II or King Charles(Queen's son) And also got an metal, for his service in the army. (Both my stepfather and his father, did some silly stuff(pulling pranks). They are British.

My Grandfather ran a large NAAFI branch during WWII & I lost a great-uncle in both World Wars, one was serving in the Army in WWi and the other was serving in the RAF during WW|I & was only 22 when he died.
