THAT is how you make an intro.....too bad they don't do press confereces anymore so as far as I'm concerned this was the last great year of Nintendo conferences.
Federico Porcel That was an understatement. A Let down would be more apropriate. They couldn't beat Sony. But at least they could present a solid showing instead of making the presentation of the last year of the Wii u such a downer.
7 years old; get my first game system, the Nintendo 64, along with a random game my mother bought me. Zelda Ocarina of Time. Little did I know that this game would change my life. Setting examples for me, helping me learns long and complicated words, introducing me to wonderful mood setting music, and throwing me into the world of hyrule. ever since then I've been a complete and total zelda fan. I watched the series grow bigger and bigger until it was a video game juggernaut. Thanks Zelda.
I got chills on my back form how beautiful this is. really Legend of Zelda stillis the best game series in the world. great song, hope this will be released into a OST or something.
Goosebumps all around my body...Tears of joy and nostalgia... I'm 32 and I grew up with Zelda. This master-piece can only be fully appreciated if Zelda is and was part of your live, so, ignore bad comments, they will never feel what we are feeling right now, that's a win. Thanks Nintendo.
0:00 to 1:22. Legend of Zelda Theme. 1:23 to 2:01. Ganondorf's Theme. 2:02 to 2:41. Zelda's theme. 2:42 to 3:29. Hyrule Field(Twilight Princess version) 3:30 to end. Skyward Sword Theme.
I've never been abel to get into the legend of zelda but the shear epicness of that almost brought me to tears. And then I thought back to a year ago and got ticked off that the Super Mario Bros. 25th anniversary didn't get this much attention.
I swear I started tearing up when they played this at E3 this year :') Freaking Wind Waker man...It was my first Zelda game. Played it when I was 10 and never went back!
Long live the Legend of Zelda! This reminds me of the very first time I played the series... I was about 7 or 8, and my brother took me over to his friend's house. They let me play a little bit of Ocarina of Time. I didn't really know what I was doing, but I was enchanted, nonetheless. Looking back, I sort of feel like I have grown up along with the series. It's hard to explain... I wonder if anyone else feels like that?
@StevoSoto the only orchestrated track from the OoT 3D is the one played in one of the Ocarina of Time trailers, arranged by Mahito Yokota. My guess is that this one will be presented in the Zelda Concert series as part of the 25th anniversary.
My first zelda game was A Link to the Past and after I had played that, I made it a quest to find NES and the original 2 zelda games. Now I have played every zelda game ever made. This gave me tears it's so epic.
0:00 The Legend of Zelda - Main Theme 1:26 Theme of Ganon/Ganondorf 2:05 Theme of Zelda 2:44 Twilight Princess - Main Theme 3:29 Skyward Sword - Main Theme
I have been playing games since the age of 5 starting with Super Mario World, Ocarina of Time, and Link's Awakening for the Game Boy. I'm 14 and I am glad to say that I have played games that are true classics of video gaming, not just the "flavor of the month". It's sad to hear people call these games "childish" or "nerdy" because there is no guns in them. This series deserves to be played for generations to come, and so it will be. The Legend of Zelda: Celebrating 25 years of awesome!
Man when I first heard the fun fact that the skyward sword theme's main melody was Zelda's lullaby in reverse, I was not sure on how to take it. But it has now grown immensly on me and I can't get enough of it. Skyward Sword (despite all it's flaws) FTFW!!!!!
zelda is just too good. hands down the best series in gaming history. no questions asked. cant wait for skyward sword. never actually finished ocarina of time but i plan on it this week. every zelda game ive played which is everything from ocarina of time and on, completely blew my mind. especially twilight princess. cant wait for skyward sword
i´m not gonna lie........when i hear and see the orchestra....i cry.........before the skyward sword was for sale.......i cry when i see and listen the orchestra......T-T my favorite and beautiful game of all...
I sat down with friends to watch the conferences. I'm in Australia and for us, The Microsoft and Nintendo caonferences happened at 2am... the point of the story was, I wanted to share the E3 experience with my friends. And I'm here to tell you, that to gamer cry in front of your friends is not embarassing, espeially when such iconic music is used to open a conference... I love Nintendo now and forever because of this...
The greatest start to a press conference in E3 history!
i love being able to see all these past zelda games and think back to when i was playing them
I always truly cry during Zelda's lullaby.
It's just something about that song, it's so pure feeling and beautiful
THAT is how you make an intro.....too bad they don't do press confereces anymore so as far as I'm concerned this was the last great year of Nintendo conferences.
***** They were.....but to compensate that 2013 was AMAZING
Jonatas Silva and 2014... boy that was awesome. This year... not so much
Federico Porcel That was an understatement. A Let down would be more apropriate. They couldn't beat Sony. But at least they could present a solid showing instead of making the presentation of the last year of the Wii u such a downer.
2017 was also amazing
2021?
too bad the sound is so low : [
Obviously this is not the function of E3, making the concerts, but by god this are epic.
It’s been a decade already and still one of the best
@mohdedres I am right there with you. I am 24 years old,and have been playing Nintendo since I was 5.

Es el mejor opening que he visto en los ultimos tiempos en el E3, que pena que nintendo no nos haya ofrecido una conferencia este año :(

great song, hope this will be released into a OST or something.
This was the most EPIC opening to ever happen at any E3.
Goosebumps all around my body...Tears of joy and nostalgia... I'm 32 and I grew up with Zelda. This master-piece can only be fully appreciated if Zelda is and was part of your live, so, ignore bad comments, they will never feel what we are feeling right now, that's a win.

That was a master piece in itself...
I loved it.
I only managed to finish 1 Zelda game and I got chills listening to this, I can only imagine how a true veteran can feel when experiencing this.
This video reminds me of why I love this game.
the ending with the skyward sword theme gets me every time. that theme was meant to be played in such a climactic fashion. so amazing

This makes me want it all D:
I cannot quite describe how happy this makes me.
I would love to hear them do something with the Temple of Time. That music is just so mystical.

The Legend of Zelda: Celebrating 25 years of awesome!
OH MY GOD!! AGH I LOVE THIS GAME TOO MUCH!!!!
I've had the pleasure to see the entire franchise evolve from it's roots. Nintendo Entertainment System along with the original Zelda at 5 years old.

thats what makes Zelda so epic (one of the things that makes it so ) C:
HECK YEA!!! I've been waiting to see Vaatti in another Zelda game since the Minnish Cap. :'D
Epico. Inarrivabile, mi commuovo quando vedo le immagini di Skyward Sword e l'orchestra le esalta con tale maestria.
Man when I first heard the fun fact that the skyward sword theme's main melody was Zelda's lullaby in reverse, I was not sure on how to take it. But it has now grown immensly on me and I can't get enough of it. Skyward Sword (despite all it's flaws) FTFW!!!!!
