I don't know what it is but all of these videos with Legend of Zelda music on marimba are incredible. The sound of the marimba is just SO perfect for the music, so much so that I actually prefer these interpretations more so than the actual music, plus this was 9 YEARS AGO. Hey, coming in nine and a half years after this was posted! I just have to say that to this date, I've yet to hear a better arrangement of the Main theme of Legend of Zelda. I do like how there's 3 of them playing this, I think of them as being the three triangles in the symbol of the Triforce. The three triangles of the Triforce represent the virtues of power, wisdom, and courage.
I have no idea why this is in my recommended but it just reminded me of this time where I was trying to tell someone that there were marimba performers at an event I went to, but I couldn't remember that word and accidentally said zoomba instead. They were understandably very confused and entertained by the idea that someone would perform zoomba, and I knew I had misspoke but still couldn't think of the word marimba, so I just went along with it. That exchange still haunts me
As fenrirgg said, you probably are the only one to remember, so try and take it with a laugh. If it still haunts you, and if it is possible, tell the the story to the persons in question. I am sure that they will think it's a funny, quirky anecdote, and they won't think less of you for it (otherwise, they really don't deserve your attention, if I may say so.) I have no idea why this is in my recommended but it just reminded me of this time where I was trying to tell someone that there were marimba performers at an event I went to, but I couldn't remember that word and accidentally said zoomba instead. They were understandably very confused and entertained by the idea that someone would perform zoomba, and I knew I had misspoke but still couldn't think of the word marimba, so I just went along with it. That exchange still haunts me
